I think that breast feeding is natural, and that you have the right to do it where ever and as much as your baby needs to be fed. If you are out in public, then yeah I think that covering up with a light baby blanket is good, because like someone already mentioned there are many pervs out there these days, so for your safety and your baby's safety this is good. People need to be understanding when a mother is nursing, because hey her baby needs to eat, and can't let her baby starve. If some people don't like it too bad, because this is the baby's right just as much as the moms right to breast feed whenever the baby needs to eat.
When I first started to breast feed my daughter in public I used to be insecure and covered myself but now I could care less. If I don't have anything to cover myself then...oh well.
What angers me most is when people suggest going to the bathroom to feed her. You know what I say,..."WOULD YOU TAKE YOUR FACKING PLATE OF FOOD AND EAT IT ON THETOILET?!! I DON'T THINK SO, THEN WHY DO YOU SUGGEST I FEED MY CHILD THERE?!!" and then those who don't think breast feeding is right, you know what I tell them,..." THIS IS WHY WOMEN HAVE BREASTS, STUPID"

I think is unnatural for a baby to go hungry in any place, that's what should matter first. How come there are so many porn stores and massage parlors signs and babies cannot be fed in public because it doesn't seem to be rigth?. How come We can see model almost showing te little tits for comercial signs and We would be upset or surprised to see a mother breastfeeding a child?
I would say that whenever a baby goes hungry it must be fed covered by a cloth or something, and if the woman doesn't have one, then sShe should do it anyways.
It's the most natural thing... I find nothing wrong with doing it in public. I also use to cover myself and if people got uncomfortable.. oh well too bad for them, I had to feed my baby.
I agree with everyone that said it's ok but cover urself with a baby blanket. That's what I used to do when i would have to breastfeed my kids in the mall or in public places.

I think its completely natural. As long as the women covers herself or goes to the designated breat feeding area (if theres one) then its fine.
Now a days after you have your baby the hospital encourages you to breast feed so a mother gets used to it and also does what she feels comfortable doing.
Us women are very lucky to be able to feed our babies this way and I think we should take advantage no matter where we are!
What I find disgusting is women that breast feed children that are like 4 or 5 years old, now thats nasty! I dont get why some women do that. Can anyone explain this to me? Babies should start drinking regular milk at age 1, why so some women feel they should continue to breast fee?
When my son was a baby i breast feed in public. Of course i covered myself with a blanket (too many pervs out there!) When your child starts to cry of hunger, you can't wait till you get home!!!

WELL now a days most places are made for breastfeeding mothers for example Sears and The Bay have breast feeding rooms and changing rooms for babies comfy couches for mothers to breast feed or most malls are now incorporating this into there washrooms to make mothers feel comfortable! BUT IM SORRY IF MY CHILD IS HUNGRY AND I DONT HAVE A BLANKET I WILL POP MY BOOB OUT FEED MY CHILD INFRONT OF PPL OR NOT! (BUT I WONT DO IT IN THE FOOD COURT THATS JUST SOMEWHAT DISRESPECTFULL TO PPL EATING MAYBE THEN ILL HIDE IN A CORNER OR SOMETHING)

I think it's something natural, it should be done in private if possible. If you are in a public place you should at least cover yourself, not that there is anything wrong with that but some PPL are just close minded and might get offended. I use to breast feed any where and did not care what any one thought...
not that its unnatural, but they way the world turns now, there are too many perverts. think about it, you pop a boob out they cant help but stare. i think for a mothers own privacy and safety, they should do it in privacy or at least under a cloth away from people, just my thoughts.
