ITS EVERY THREE MONTHS ???
I heard that the estrogen dose with the needle is pretty high as well. If u are prone to gaining weight and stuff with the pill this will make it worse. I was on the pill ages ago but it made me gain weight so i got off it. Too bad the doctor wont do the IUD for u.

Use the pill girl... it doesnt have that many side effects and you determine which time is best for you to remember to take it. Couple the pill with a condom and your risk diminishes to a very very slim chance. Alesse is pretty good. But remember, you cant take the pill for more than 5 continuous years.. it starts to loose its effect and there might be a possiblity of difficulty conceiving once youre off of it.
* IUD * The Intrauterine Device (IUD) What is an IUD? A T-shaped, plastic device inserted into the uterus by a health care professional. There are two types of IUDs available: 1. Copper: Can remain in place for 10 years. 2. Progesterone (natural female sex hormone): Replaced every year. IUDs prevent pregnancy by inhibiting fertilization of the egg. Although not entirely known, it is believed that the IUDs affect the way the sperm and egg move and/or affect the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation of the egg. The IUD is not recommended for teenagers because of increased risk of serious infectio which can cause sterility. How is it used? The IUD is inserted into the uterine wall by a health care provider, usually during menstruation. The string at the end of the IUD will hang down through the cervix into the vagina and should be checked periodically (especially after menstruation). Does it protect against STIs? NO! Does it protect against pregnancy? Yes. What are the chances of getting pregnant while using an IUD? 1. Copper: Typical use: 0.8% Perfect use: 0.6% 2. Progesterone: Typical use: 2% Perfect use: 1.5% Advantages to using an IUD? With an IUD in place, the female does not have to think about using contraception when having sex, or every day in the case of the pill (although she should use other means to prevent against STDs). The IUD does not change the hormone levels throughout the body as do other contraception methods such as the pill. The cost of the copper IUD can be low in the long run compared to birth control methods that must be purchased more frequently. Disadvantages to using an IUD? Menstrual cramps may increase. Bleeding may occur between periods. Periods may be heavier and last longer. This may cause anemia. Increases risk of serious infection (PID) and sterility. IUD may fall out. Pregnancy while using the IUD, although rare, may be dangerous and lead to infections or ectopic pregnancies. Things you should know: IUDs do not protect against STIs. Individuals who do not know the sexual health status of their partners, or feel they might be at risk for an STI, should use condoms to protect against infections.
Good research LadyBug. The IUD is good. Never had any side effects.

The majority of girls gain weight and break out with the pill....at least for the first year (80%)....after that your body becomes immune and you have to take stronger pills that make you a bit nautious and give you migraines (it varies per person).....
I guess Condoms are still the best, most effective, cheapest, convenient method.
I also heard the patch is dangerous...at least if you plan on ever conceiving.
CONFU......KE commercial?? you got a link??
