I personally would never strip.....no matter how much money i would be making.... when it comes to my boyfriends going to strip clubs...i dont mind....as long as he comes home to me....
I remember when table dances were $5.00 each,now dances are $20 which is way too much money for a song ( a 2.5 minutes dance). No matter how beautiful the girl I won't pay that kind of money (well,one dance is not enough hahaha). If I go with friends I just buy a beer and does it. I don't go very often but I've noticed that there are several latinas that seem to be on contract. I guess they really need to make some cash, save it,and send it to their countries, I would say most of them are single mothers trying to make ends meet. So I don't judge them for that, deep inside I'm sorry for some of them, you can tell that some don't enjoy what they do, perhaps most. And I feel sorry for dancers who ask me if I want a dance cause I know they need the money but I'm too cheap to spend it that way.
So, God bless strippers, they are the only way for 40 year old virgins to see a naked woman,hahaha.
Like any endeavor/discpline there are probably some purist- a small group of dancers that call themselves artists and whole heartedly believe they are. I believe, however, that they are very small minority. The majority are there probably for fast cash, drug issues or crave adulation (power).
The bigger issue I believe is that we still live in a patriachal society where one of the few ways a young non-skilled female worker can make decent cash (besides prostitution and waitressing) is stripping. There is simply not that many options for those without marketable skills and are desperate for money (whatever the circumstances).
More importantly for anyone considering stripping as a career choice they must realize that there is a whole parasitic industry set up to take your money away from you once you do get some. I speak mainly of the drugs sold in and around these businesses. They get these women addicted and prey on their desperation. Often the drug dealers are the owners of the stripjoints- trying to get more money from the dancers. It is exploitation at its very best.
I think it's just fast cash. I really don't think it's art at all. I have nothing against them, but I think that it's not the best choice of work. As for moms who do this...well I guess that they can do this as a last resort, but if they're really thinking about their children they shouldn't do this, because it could be dangerous. There are many sickos that go to strip clubs, and some are crazy enough to do something dumb like follow one of the strippers home, mug them, or even worse. If you think that security will help the girls are in trouble...well heck some won't, and I have also heard that some security guys have jumped some strippers also. Personally I think that these places are for single people, because if you have someone special why in the world would u go and spend your money on some person who could care less about you except for how much money you have in your pockets. No matter how much you try to make these joints look fancy in the end a strip club will always be a strip club no matter what you do to dress them up.
I wouldn't say its an art, more like a fast cash. However you have to have tight body to be a stripper, know your moves, flexible, hot.... I don't know, I couldn't strip not even for money (fast cash).

Stripjoints r like any other buisnes ,. there aree consumers for it ,.. defently is not art,. if u like exotic dancing,. or any other type,. u can do it in other way,. and u'll need to make more efforts and sacrifices of course,....for me is fast cash,..

Your absolutely right. But the problem is that most of them arent there just for the show. And also I used to have a friend that was a stripper and most of them are addicted to drugs because they cant go up on stage sobber. I dont know, I guess its up to the women thats doing the job. But I hate the women that are strippers and complain about the job. Most male strippers that do it and dont complain. They do have a choice but they act like they dont.
