When someone deletes an account, that user name becomes available for someone to register. It’s the same system as a domain name, if the owner of a domain does not renew it becomes available for anyone to buy it.
You asked for your account to be deleted. Now someone has registered that user name. I suggest you talk to the new member who registered your old name and ask him/her to register as another name. Unfortunately theirs is nothing we TH can do. I wouldn’t be fare to delete somebody’s account.

Why is my name being used now by someone other than me when i asked for it to be deleted?
I think its not professional of your part to give usernames that have been used previously by other members that have been continously posting day after day, making torontohispano.com forum boards wat they are today. or at least took part in makin it wat it is now.
Please delete the username Caliche, i find it to be a slap in the face from TH Admin.
