All i gotta say is that the premiere was wicked.

@TVBuff - Edie is not with Mike, he works for her, but its obvious she has the hots for him.

Bree's husband had a heart attack and died.

Yes, Zack is Mike's son, Mary Alice and the marido (i forget his name) took him because Deirdre (Mike's exwife) had given him away and told Mike she had an abortion, but when Deirdre went to get him back that's when Mary Alice killed her and that's why Mary Alice killed herself years later.

Gabrielle is not sure who's kid it is, and Carlos asked for a paternity test, but she didnt want to go thru with it because if it ends up being el jovencito's kid, then Carlos will divorce her, so she went to some paternity test clinic and took some lady's test results to show to Carlos to prove she had taken the test. (Gabrielle is wicked)

Can somebody update me on what's going on? From what I saw last night Edie (sp?) is with Susan's ex; Bree's husband is dead (how did this happen?); Zach is Mike's son (???) and Mary Alice killed Zach's mom (more ???) and Gabrielle is pregnant, but I thought the kids was the gardener's (???) I missed a few episodes last season.

Here is an update of yesterday's epidode:

The second season premiere takes off from where last season left off. When Mike arrives home, he finds Zach holding Susan hostage and has to find a way to rescue them both. Mike and Zach's connection to each other is realized. New Wisteria Lane neighbor Betty Applewhite, a concert pianist has a dark and spooky secret to hide and it is about to be revealed.. Bree identifies Rex's body at the morgue as he has officially died. Rex's mother, Phyllis (guest star Shirley Knight), comes in for his funeral -- and to drive Bree crazy. Bree also gets into a major argument with in a restaurant over the funeral arragnements. There is a funeral conducted later on. Meanwhile Lynette interviews for an account executive position at a top ad agency, now that Tom has agreed to stay home with the kids. Her boss, Nina (guest star Joely Fisher), is skeptical about hiring a mother of four, so Lynette makes a big effort to impress her. Lastly, Gabrielle, feeling guilty about her unfaithfulness, dutifully begins visiting Carlos in jail.
