I think things in the foro work somewhat similarly to real life relations (after all there are people on the other side). So if you have a group af friends/acquaintances, and between yourselves some joke about sex all the time, others flirt, others laugh, etc..generally the context allows for that, because there is trust and comfort in the group such that you were able to reach that stage collectively.

But if someone new comes out of the blue and starts behaving like Eddie did, things are not going to end nicely. One does not do that in face-to-face relations, so why do it here?

I think that's the difference, we know each other's sense of humor, and we know when we are joking or not. Take for example Danny416, he just joined, and he's checking everybody out, and being somewhat reserved, which I think is the right approach, with time averyone will get more comfortable and we'll be able to tell him things like A$$HOLE, moron, stupid monkey, KE TE (copyrighted), etc.

So that....I think that was what made the difference....it was all Danny's fault.

Danny man...why did you get Eddie banned??

I agree with the ban. He should have realised that he was causing uncomfort in the forum, and should have at least apologised.

I think the man here in the foro was disrespectful and out of place.

Como siempre, me and and my twin, Chale, think alike. Some of u may not know this but I know Eddie Figueroa personally. I have known this guy from way back in the day. And ya, he may seem strange to a lot of us, but to me, he has always been very nice and respectful. If u guys knew all the crap this guy has been thru maybe u guys wouldnt be bashing him so much. so how does this whole banning system work? someone makes a complaint to the adminstrator, or do forum members as a whole vote for that particular person to get banned?

I agree with Chale,. in the part that he didn't offend with his posts ,.but I m excluding the one when he offered easy cash for a date or something like that,.. this is a public foro ,.yes,. but to give ur opinion,. share ur ideas,..etc,..,.but not to start offering this kind of job,. everyone knows where this type of offer goes,..

Also I think Admin should give an explanation why they banned a member,. i think should be fair for the member banned,.and for the rest to know what we can't do,..

I think he did try to explain, but no one was buying it, or maybe they didn't understand what he was trying to say. I do agree with you 100% though. He was wacked, but hey who isn't? Everybody in this foro has something about them that people find wierd or stupid. Go figure.

No one should be banned b/c they are not liked or b/c no one agrees with their opinions or posts... thats just wrong. It IS a flippen public foro!

And yes, I know, everyone is going to come back and say that he was soliciting for sex, but you know what... we dont know that for sure. I say he be given a chance to explain himself before he is crucified by the foro police.

Let me just state though, that I do not agree with A LOT of what he said, but on the same note, it is a public foro and everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. Buddy has posted a lot of things that I dont agree with, so I just dont even bother checking out the post or replying. If you dont like it, dont post, dont read... ignore it.
