OK i went on Sat night for i swear 30min to pick up food from el Jacalito which I agree with buffy had no flavour what so ever i mean i expected more and got nada! sucked large sorry guys but it did! We got food and took off didnt feel like being around so many ppl. I thought it was well organized. I went on Saturday night and Monday night.

Saturday night's show was good, Banda X did a good preformance. Did anybody see that little girl dance. WOW! She was really good, she must have been no more than 6 yrs old. As well as the boy who danced on stage. These kids can really move.

Monday night was also good. Same thing as usual, i saw so many people i know and some who i usually see every year during the festivals. Both days i was in the food section. I was able to sit and enjoy the show with my friends.

I tried the pupusas on Monday night and let me tell you, they were not that great. I can honestly say that the ones i make are better. The price almost killed me. $3 for a Pupusa. Are they crazy. Next year it will probably be $4! I don't drink beer, but my friends say it wasn't the greatest, but of course they kept buying and drinking!

But overall the festival was good!! Had fun!!

When I got there, El Simbolo was playing (funny 'cause they weren't in the program for Monday), so I gagged.

Then an old lady sang, and then another old lady sang...so I gagged.

I went Saturday and Sunday afternoons and thought it was okay. It was really well-organized, not crazy packed, and saw a lot of familiar faces, as usual. Oh, and I didn't really like the food. I was surprised that Jacalito's food was so tasteless. They're usually good and this time their food had no taste whatsoever. The pupusas line was insane, didn't even try to buy any.

I didn't stay for any of the night shows, but I heard that Jencarlo's was good-- he had the ladies going. As for the MC, I think Marcela is okay. She does her job well, professionally enough. Couldn't care less about the fact that she's pregnant or not; that has nothing to do with how she MC's. As for Urueña, never liked the guy anyway, so I couldn't care either how many kids he has. And yeah, whatever happened to Shannon Nantel?

I went sunday nigth and monday evening. Sunday it was ok, I had a stake on a bum ( the shortest line ) and one of those beers. It was just beer,kind of expensive though.

LAter I had some hot churros con cafe', they were good, rrigth out of the frying pan.

Everything else was ok, the folcklore music boring as ussual. And I bought two books at good prices.

I miss the Hispanic Fiesta of several years ago when they used to bring Tito Puente, Willie Colon, HEnry Fiol,and artist like those. ANd it was on HArbourfront where there was more beer and food choices.

Overall it was ok this time.

I think Urena has like 20 kids by now, Shannon NAntel used to be the one on the stage for many latino activities, I wonder where She is now.
