Yah etiquette is important as are good manners and proper hygene.... but to drop someone based on lack of etiquette?  Hmmmmm..... I dont know girl.

Based on your exaples, would I dump someone?

- making noise while stirring sugar in your cup of coffee
WHAT???? If you drop someone over this, then youve got problems! LOL!!   You'll be at the therapist and be like "I just couldnt take it anymore!! He was driving me bananas!!! He just STIRS too loud!!!!"  LMAO!!!

- not putting your fork and knife evenly to one side of your plate, when finished eating
I put it on my plate, not on the side of my plate.  Ewww... its dirty now... dont want to put dirty things on the table.. I put it on my plate

- a guy ordering before a girl and not asking what she's having
Yah... I can see this not being Polite.  Some women want to be treated as equal when it comes to this, so she will want to order for herself.  But if a guy orders before you and doesnt at least gesture for you to go first.... DROP HIM! Makes him seem kinda selfish and absorbed... makes you wonder where else he might be selfish.... *hint hint*

- not washing your hands before a meal
This is gross... But you cant wash your hands all of the time before you eat.  So as long as the hands are full of crusted on mud or paint or mechanical oil.... yo... go on with your bad self... Just dont touch my food!!

- slurping noodles in a soup...or even just slurping the soup
I dont mind this... I think its kinda funny....
Alright, I admit.. I do it....

For me etiquette is also very important. There is nothing more annoying than having to share the table with someone with poor table manners. How do you tell someone to stop eating like a pig? I do not know.

Etiquette & Manners ARE VERY, VERY IMPORTANT!!!

I may sound mean or rude but I really don't think I can put up with a guy who can't eat properly, who doesn't know how to use a knife & fork properly, who chews loud or with his mouth open. I defenitly can't handle anyone who eats & doesn't wash their hands & mouth after eating & then tries to Kiss me or hug me......yuck!!. That's something that drives me NUTS & it's so grouse.

Right Fea??? lol

Etiquette is very important, but no matter where you go or who you're with, there will always be rude people with absolutely no manners. And all you're left to do is put up with ignorant people like that.

OR DO YOU TELL THEM?? For example....How do you tell someone not to chew an apple so loud with their mouth open? You say something like, "Will you quit chewing that goddamn apple so friggin' loud! You're disgusting! And shut your trap when you chew, you pig!" Direct approaches are always better.

Trust me, when you live with someone long enough, you end up doing all these things yourself and even having contests on who does worse... it can be funny, you just have to see the humour in it. (Not that I do it... I have the best manners... seriously )
