I have a question.....

I got a new pair of speakers for my ride...I got the JBL GTO926 6" X 9" 2-Way Loudspeaker
Power Handling, RMS: 100 Watts
Power Handling, Peak: 300 Watts

So I removed the OEM Speakers and they Used 4 wires.....and My New Speakers only use 2.

On the OEM speakers 2 wires (+/-) go to the Speaker and the other 2 go to the tweeter. I tought that If I match the 2 positive with the 2 negatives will work....yes it does But when I crank the volume I get a funny noise....

So I decided to remove 1 set of wires and leave just 1 ...and it works..... but Im not sure if like that Im going to use the whole potential of the speakers.

Any suggestions ?
