Nothing like the Parades in 90, 91,and 92. I participated in those. They were wicked.  And the after parties at Driftwood Community Centre were amazing.

both shows where packed well one was free at a park just like what you guys had here in Toronto, in montreal there were more then 7,000 people.

I am sorry for the bad information given by organizers of this event, i think is not right to have things like this happen with any artist name.

U is a vowel, not a word, although it sounds like one (it actually sounds like 'you' not like 'one).


And when a question is asked in a singular fashion, you are supposed to add an S at the end of the verb.


I have to say... that was a very particular question.

I totally agree with you on the Dia de la Raza stuff. This was a Hispanic Day Parade and it was all done in August? WTF? What are they celebrating on the 21st of August? That didn't make any sense to me. I don't know about having it indoors, though. I don't think people would like that.

 I didn't go cause I was working.  I remember that this parade is not really new, I remember seen it for the first time about 10 years ago.  It used to be around October ( Dia de la Raza) but I guess it was too cold for the girls wearing bikinis like costumes.


  I would prefer to see this event inside a huge place instead of on the street.  I think the carrozas should be better presented, I mean We are in Canada and some one should hire a set decorator or so, so the event looked more attractive.  In other words, from what I've seen before, this parade looks kind of cheap.  If We pay attention to Caribana We can see elaborated costumes and staff that takes month to prepare in advance.  So again, an event in a big place would be better presented with booth of every country.

well these are the first comments i hear about the parade from ppl that were on the outside.... I was in the parade and yes i did perform at the festival. I personally didn't think it went that bad but ppl do see things differently from the outside then from the inside.... for thoses who didn't go to the parade and are still hatin pls make an appearance next time before you make any comments..... i would understand if you were there but if u didnt' show up then don't hate....

I disagree – porque las gallinas SI VUELAN… just not too far… from what I recall de mi classes de Grade 2 or 3 is that las unicas aves que no vuelan son los PINGUINOS… que no vuelen distancias largas, no quiere decir que no vuelan… pero las gallinas SI aletean y vuelan distancias cortas

Nos e que decirte habria que preguntarle a el a lo mejor tiene sus razones o pruebas yo por mi parte no se. Recuerda que tmbien hay otros gastos en estos tipos de eventos y muchas veces se pierde dinero.

Bueno senores lo que les puedo decir es que tuve la oportunidad de ir a la parada por primera vez y les digo que alli estaba City TV cubriendo el desfile y habia personas de todas las edades participando en la parada. Jovenes viejos bebitos etc...



Todo esto fue un esfuerzo de la comunidad y hecho por voluntarios. Tambien participaron muchos artistas locales y yo mismo cante dos temas para colaborar con mi comunidad. Las chicas del concurso miss hispanidad estaban muy lindas.



Asistio mucha gente y no hubo problemas a mi entender. La flota Dominicana en la cual yo participe tuvo unos problemas con su sonido pero los muchachos lograron buscar otro sonido y aunque tuvimos que detener el camion para hacerlo fue eso lo que nos permitio seguir con nuestra musica y al final logramos presentar nuestra flota y musica a los miembros del jurado. La flota Dominicana gano el primer lugar asi que felicidades a todos mis compatriotas por ese triunfo.



Es cierto que no fue el mejor desfile del mundo pero todo tiene un principio y estas cosas mejoran atravez del trabajo y del tiempo. Tenemos que seguir apoyando y moviendo todo hacia adelante. Las cosas mejoraran con el tiempo.

Isn't the same guy than orgonized the Buki concert MR ALFREDO PEREZZ also orgonized this parade and the festival?

i guess after the rip off on the VIP seccion on the buki he have to make this one GHETTO

THE PARADE WAS ALRIGHT, CONSIDERING IT WAS ORGANIZED BY HISPANICS. THE FESTIVAL IT WAS BIT GHETTO, BUT THEN AGAIN ISNT THAT WHAT LATINOS COME TO EXPECT AT THESE FESTIVALS?? I PERSONALLY DIDNT THINK MUCH OF IT, THE FOOD WAS ALRIGHT, THE MUSIC WELL, NOT MUCH OF A FAN BUT IT WAS ALRIGHT I GUESS....

I KEPT MY EYE OUT FOR JOKERXV1, HE SAID HE WAS GONNA HAVE THE SPAIN FLAG, PERO EL GALLEGO SE PELO I DIDNT SEE NO SPAIN FLAGS.....
