What is with the latinos/latinas here in Toronto. Aside from a small few - did they all fall off the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down? Are there no university educated latinas? I've been searching for a slim pretty university educated latina for years in toronto. I've come to the conclusion that there are none. I've lived in Chile and Spain and I have travelled throughout central america and south america and I ve met and seen plenty of slim, pretty, and very educated latinas. Hola Neruda.. desde el primer momento que pusiste este post que he querido contestarte.... pero preferi hacerlo de forma privada y darte la posibilidad a que pudieras explicar el porqué de tu "insulto".., pero hasta el momento no me ha llegado la explicación de tu "absurda y ignorante teoria". No soy muy indicada en responderte de este modo llamemoslé "popular" ya que me encuentro algo (bastante) alejada de la hermosa gente que día a día forma este gran foro o como ellos llaman...esta gran familia.., pero si lo hago es poqrue me indigna ver que aun en el mundo pueda haber gente asi, que es evidente tendrás mucha educación académica (quizá..no lo se..) pero te falta aprender mucho aun, de algunas cosas como: el respeto, los valores...tu propia ética.., y eso..no te lo da la Universidad... eso te lo da la familia, tus amigos..tus raices...se nota que carecés de ello.. Y si me "meto", no me importa cuán lejos o cerca esté, es porque me duele y me molesta que se hable tan gratuitamente de ese modo..no solo como latina sino como ser humano..! nadie se merece ser tratado de tal manera, porque en definitiva, tanto vos como yo y todos los miembros del foro.. somo iguales!!... llorás igual que nosotros, te reis igual que nosotros, te corre sangre por las venas igual que a nosotros, vas a baño al igual que nosotros, estás hecho de la misma "materia" que cada uno de nosotros...y si vivis en nuestro mismo continente no dejas de ser un americano mas! igual que nosotros...sos uno mas.. pero hay algo que te diferencia, sin ninguna duda.. y es tu persona...! por lo que voy leyendo en el foro y "hablando" con algunos aqui.. pude observar que es gente que se esfuerza dia a dia por mejorar, cada uno trabaja y lucha por lo quiere.. y realmente no sabes cuáles son sus estudios...tal vez hasta te superen!!..y ademas se nota..a leguas!!! que tienen un corazón enorme! y eso....en qué Universidad se estudia???..por favor....dile a los profesores de TU universidad que no se olviden de formarte como persona! que al fin.. es lo unico que te hace grande en la vida!...

Simple y llanamente ,por decir lo que estas diciendo a cerca de nosotros los latinos me puedo dar cuenta que eres un IGNORANTE. Los estudios universitarios no te hacen educado, los conocimientos se pueden adquirir en diferentes lugares y de diferentes maneras. Im not trying to sound all high and mighty, but believe me, i consider myself very knowledgeable, i know a lot about literature, music, history, etc.. And i know all this because it's stuff that interests me and ive actually taken the time to read up on it or find out more, i didnt learn any of this in "university". Or is it maybe that the slim, educated ones dont wanna give u the time of day and this is why ur lashing out?
