Not only that but they are the worlds bigget Economic Power (thats just big people talk for a country with a lot of money) Not only that but they are also our biggest and most important trade partner. (again, that means that they buy almost all the stuff we make and or buy the materials from us so that they can make stuff on their own, we need the money we make for this to buy stuff that we need) So what all that means is, that If something funny happens to the American Economy, (U.S. Money go bye bye) that directly affects OUR Economy. So you see, its important to keep an eye on whats going on down south so that we know how it might affect us.

I think you should rephrase your question. Either: How do you think George Bush's idea to Implement a progressive Price Index to Reduce the Cost of Social Security will hurt long-term benefits for the Average American ? or What do you think Of George Bush idea to Implement a progressive Price Index to Reduce the Cost of Social Security?. Will it hurt long-term benefits for the Average American ? I'm going to reply to the second one. I think that Bush's administration is so desperate for funds, that they are looking for all corners they can cut, like in the Social Security case. Basically, the Progressive Price Index is the rate at which your retirement money grows over the years along with inflation (so you can buy your $65.99 Big Mac in 2050). Well, Bush want's this money to grow at a slower rate than it is currently growing, therefore getting almost immediate monetary benefits for his government to fund whatever the fack he wants to fund. In my opinion, this is going to affect mostly young workers, as their retirement money will not grow along with the inflation, so they'll get peanuts when they're 65. Also, another big issue that most people don't realise (and this is global), is the fact that soon, all the generation of Baby Boomers will start to retire. As a consequence, governments and insurance companies will need more money to pay their retirement, so all these old farts are going to get their retirement money from OUR retirement savings(or did you think they actually save your RRSPs just for you until you are 65??), so by the time we are 65, there is not going to be a lot of funds to pay for our retirements....and adding the Progressive Index Pricing Mr faking W wants to implement, the Americans are going to take it up the A S S. That's how I think it will affect the average American.

Okay Now Let's talk about something Interesting.... What do you think Of George Bush idea to Implement a progressive Price Index to Reduce the Cost of Social Security will hurt long-term benefits for the Average American ?
