Here's the thing..... foroland does NOT equal real life.
What you read on the foro is not necesarily a true reflection of what or who a person truely is.

Its sad to see that people can take such offence to things or judge a person so quickly based a few posts. I've met a lot of foro people, and everyone is really sweet, intelligent, witty, and yes.... EVEN a bit flirty! Its called having a personality. I guess everybody here understands that the flirting is just for fun and jokes (unless they're a werid Napoleon-dynamite-brother kinda person).

Personally reading a bit of that doesn't bother me at all, and it even makes me laugh. But I start getting annoyed when it's on every thread, even if the thread was not about that. Sometimes you get into reading something, and there's some good jokes or some good posts, but at the end most of then end on the same, and then people complain that el Foro is getting boring !! no wonder!! c'mon show a bit of humor creativity...make fun of other things, like Dogo's canine-love fixation (dirty), or Caliche's military-base-shower-dreams.

@ Chale & Dogo I agree with your points guys, that's what I was trying to say in my previous post. It's all done in good fun, and as Dogo said, majority of people on this foro are not as "open" when u meet them in person. If some are, all power to them, but my comment was geared towards the "occasionals" that come in and read, and then go out there and talk shiat. I also work with, and am surrounded by some uptight people, so coming here can be sort of a therapy, if u will. I have to say that I didn't find this very healthy at all. As good as intensions might have been, it is very difficult to view this thread objectively (and I tend to very objective) not so much for me, 'cause I got off rather lightly, but you can sense a bit of friction in some of the postings

I think it's important to understand that the way we act in "el foro" is nothing like what we act in real life (I've met many of you and I'm sure I can say that for most of us) and to take anything that is said here too seriously, is simply ridiculous (sorry, strictly my opinion)

If you were to read most of my posts you'd probably think I'm a sex maniac, wearing a cowboy hat and dripping in oil. lol!! The truth is that I do have a great sense of humour and I will rarely be offended by virtually anything, but I'm also quite timid, quiet and very serious most of the time. My job is very fast paced, very stressful and I deal with a lot of high end stuck up people in the interior design bussiness (enough said, I'm sure) So I come here to have fun and unwind, I don't normally post anything serious 'cause it's too difficult to get your point across properly, it lacks momentum, tone and sentiment... and half the time you have to post a few times to clarify what you've just tried to say.

I'm sorry if any of my comments or flirting have annoyed you or offended you in any way but I'm always the first to apologize, either publicly in el foro or I'll PM you and apologize and make sure everything "is OK" with what I've just posted (and many of you can vouch for that) I also find that if you don't have a strong sense of humour this could be a very difficult place to be, cause most of us have something funny to say about almost any situation, and you must ba able to take it.

As far as the so called "Flirting" goes, it's done in public because it's nothing but a joke people!! otherwise it's obvious that it would be taking place in "private" and not having it here for all of you to know... It's too bad many of you don't get it, but that's all it is... Much attention has been paid to the fact that I might firt a lot with Gitana and maybe other people... but the fact of the matter is that I just play here in "el foro" (I don't even know their real names, for god's sake!!) I don't hang out, go out or date anybody from el foro. In fact I was the first to mention in the "dates" thread that it probably was not a good idea to have people within "el foro" hook up. (not that it can't happen)

Bottom line is that we must be tolerant of each other, this is a community and we all have to learn how to live with each other. As far as "ME" goes I do find some extreme comments rather.......extreme, but as far as the lighter stuff goes, I'm never quick to judge your personality (or your annoyance for that matter) or attack you, based solely on what you've posted here.

So on my list of "most annoying" there is no one... I enjoy some of you more than others, but I enjoy all of you in your own way.

Well, here goes my 2 cents. It is true that the majority of threads end up on a sexual note, and i'll admit, it is fun, gives us stuff to laugh about and gets our minds of our daily issues (some of us may have more crap than others going on in their lives). But it does get annoying at times, and like Gitana said, we all know it's all in good fun, but believe me, there are people that come to this foro "occassionally" and take everything that is said on this foro literally. According to those people, everyone on here is getting it on with each other just because of the comments that are posted. Apparently the girls look like hoes and the guys look like sluts. And u know what, if some people are tappin outside of this foro, good for them, but it doesent mean everyone on here is. OMG Confesiones...that annoys me too....why do you need a whole thread about yourself saying you are new? well being a paritcipant in this i would have to say that i felt that because this was such a tight knit group it was a good way to introduce urself.... about newbies disappearing maybe and not totally because of this, but alot of the threads are about who knows who and if u know no one its harder...for me at least

IM AGREEING with the Newbie here (jk Amira) its true most of us are long time members so i mean them introducing themselves is good i mean some are members and dont post but they see someone else starting a topic to introduce the selves and they join in so i mean hey why not!!
