I DO THINK IT IS POSSIBLE FOR A WOMAN AND A MAN TO BE FRIENDS AND STICK TO JUST BEING FRIENDS.... IT'S ALL ABOUT RESPECTING ONE ANOTHER AND KNOWING HOW TO VALUE THE TRUE MEANING OF FRIENDSHIP....
I have lots of female friends which I got to know at COllege or at work. I used to work with a lot of females finishing assignments, and other chores. I still keep in contact with some of them ,some are single and others are married.
SOmetimes friends can become lovers or more than friends but usually that takes time or there was an interest since the beginning. In conclussion... yes you can have great friends of the opposite sex. No problems. Note: it's really hard to be just friends with a woman who is really hot, but yes, is still possible once one has established a solid friendship.
Claro que existe !! No hay ninguna necesidad de crear una situacion en la cual sexo o alguna otra clase de compromiso se vea envuelto. En mi caso, yo soy feliz solamente por el hecho de contar con una amiga para conversar e intercambiar opiniones y puntos de vista.

Por supuesto que existe,. si la amistad es sincera y es realmente una amistad sin ningun otro tipo de interes,.. un hombre y una mujer pueden ser amigos y solamente amigos y nada mas (como la cancion) pero cuando empiezan a nacer otros sentimientos si es de parte de las dos personas ,. puede llegar a ser buena realcion,. pero si es solo de una de las personas ,. puede llegar a terminar la amistad,. y seria lo mas triste de todo,..Personalmente yo tengo mas amigos que amigas,. y mi mejor amigo es hombre,..
Yes, of course hombres y mujeres podemos ser amigos sin necesidad de acostarnos… a lot of my closer friends have been females – and no, no need for couchie-couchie… Once you do that, things are not the same – believe me I KNOW (cause that’s what I have heard )

it COULD potentially work if neither party developes feelings for the other, because then that just screws everything over and the friendship gets uncomfortable.

Just curious what your thoughts are on this (i'm sure it has come up in "el foro" before but i'm too new to know) I tend to be very open minded in general, but specially when it comes to relationships (and sex j/k) I do believe it exists.... the conditions have to be just right, but it happens... your thoughts?
I do believe that men and women can be friends, BUT is very rare. Most men (and women) can't have female (male) friends because of the attraction they may have towards them....
I do have men friends and they are just that -friends- is great to have this type of relationship, you get the real deal of how they are!!!!

In my opinion men and woman can be friends, no strings attached. If you are currently in this type of relationship and are finding it hard to just stay friends because of sexual tension, then you are screwed . . . Go do the naughty . . .
