Such as those from the early 1900's...so i just wanted to let you know that there's a radio station AM 740...it plays all the ol' classics and not only that, but at 5 they have the Faboulous 50's at 5! Nada mas de esto con Dj Danny D and the hammer, they play the same thing all the time! Yes, i'm a geek, loveold music and so what?! Gracias mi gente :)

I'm a geek that loves old music too, so misery loves company.  I listen to 1050 CHUM, also to AM740, Q107 for the good classic 70's rock.  Il Divo is this group of guys, good looking guys, founded by Simon Cowell (the nasty judge from American Idol).  They sing in Spanish, English, Italian.  They are pretty good, they have a really nice version of "Unbreak my Heart" in Spanish.  And im a big Romantica and all, pero ya me tienen enferma, the office manager at my work plays the CD constantly, they're too sweet, im gonna get a cavity pretty soon.

right now, right now? lol

Common - Be (such a good CD, most of it produced by Kanye so the beats are sick, and the lyrics are wicked as you would expect from Common)

Anthony Hamilton - Soullife (real soulful)

Ol' Dirty Bastard - The Definitive Ol' Dirty Bastard Story (its like a greatest hits thing)

Talib Kweli - Beautiful Struggle

plus recently Ive been listening to a lot of the Doors for some reason... it all depends what mood I'm in.

hey guys, I love my old school freestyle like Cover Girls, Stevie B and TKA......but anything old school I love. I am still so capsulated in the late 80's early 90's, so you would still hear me pumping oldies in my car like "Raza Park"-Kid Frost, etc. hahahaha...but hey DOGO, i love George Michael too, esp. that song on his new album "Amazing". Old school slow jam artists such as Tevin Campbell, New Edition, Jodi Watley......man, I could go on forever, I wish we had a Latin Freestyle mix in the clubs, man, i would be there every weekend!

Backstreet Boys, NSync, Spice Girls (just kidding)

A lot of old school hip hop, bringing me back great memories (Lords of the Underground, A Tribe Called Quest, Eazy E, and others).  But then again, my gustos change quite often.

I've actually been listening to a lot of French music lately. Pretty cool stuff.

- Le Peuple de l'herbe (dub-hiphop)
- Ez3kiel (Trippy-dub) (www.ez3kiel.com pretty cool website)
- Marcel et son Orchestre (pretty whacky ska, really fun to listen to)
- The Herbaliser (DJ. I'm going to see him next thursday on the Toronto Jazz Festival)

I think that's all for now.

JUST WONDERING WHAT ALL YOU GUYS ARE LISTENING TO, IN ENGLISH, LATELY

I HAVE A BIT OF AN ECLECTIC TASTE IN MUSIC (A BIT MORE ON THE MELLOW SIDE) SO I'M KIND OF ALL OVER THE PLACE.... AND MAYBE YOU CAN SUGGEST SOME GOOD CD'S

SOME OF MY RECENT FAV'S ARE

JACK JOHNSON (just a absolutely great cd, if you like a bit mellow, i highly recomend it)

DAMIEN RICE (it will bore you to tears... unless you have a significant other by your side... great loving music)

FRANZ FERDINAND (funky stuff I like)

THE NEW WHITE STRIPES CD AIN THAT BAD

COLD PLAY'S NEW ONE (in fact all three cd's are perfect, can't get enough of these guys)

new GORILLAZ cd is pretty good too

                           NOT SO NEW CD'S

GEORGE MICHEALS "PATIENCE" am i the only one that thinks this a great cd? i don't think it got much play... great music, and it's technically perfect... it's sounds as if he's live... great cd)

MAROON 5

JOHN MAYER (love this cd)

I'll add more as I think of them, and I'd like to hear some good suggestions
