Have any of you heard the song When the Night feels my song by Bedouin Soundclash? These guys are from Kingston, but have a great worldly sound and this particular song is so catchy. I love it!

Hey Torontotruco, I love 80's music too. Have you ever been to those Vintage parties that are held @Afterlife? I went in February and it was sooooooooooooooooooo fun, usually I get so tired and exhausted because the general music they play every weekend tends to be the same, but @the 80's jam, man, it was amazing. They remixed song after song, after song. Do you remember the show growing pains? They even remixed that song with New Order's "Everytime I see You Falling...." Im loving the 80's. Wish some of the DJ's here would specify to that. Hint hint!

I haven't been there, I guessed I've missed a great place.  I've been at the Crocodrile ROck in Mississauga and they play all kind of music including staff of the 80's.  That remix must have been awsome, ummm. It would be nice if they mixed Duran Duran, Pep shop Boys, Depeche MOde, Sting ( Castaway), even some Michael JAckson tunes ( when He was black ) , Simple minds, the Pretty in Pink song, Flashdance, etc.

I guess I missed Dogo's first thread ever the first time around.
My musical taste is eclectic as well, but I'm more on the girly, mellow side: Dido, Sarah McLachlan, Nelly Furtado, Sheryl Crow, but I also like Coldplay (loooove Coldplay), John Mayer. I like Jack Johnson too, the Killers, Arcade Fire, White Stripes. I also like very, very much a new kid from Vancouver, K'Naan, who sings sort of Hip Hop, but the lyrics are so deep and he's really, really good. He has the same producers as Nelly Furtado. You guys should check out his stuff (although I don't know how many of you like that kinda thing). I also like Stabilo a lot. And I could go on and on. I just love music.

I'll be sure to give you a full minute, that'll give you enough time to clean yourself up a bit. Only problem, how do I kill you without killing myself? Death by Peter Cetera is not the way I want to go.

I'm going to have to agree that the last Audioslave wasn't as good as the previous one. It's listenable at least. Not like "IL DIVO", now THAT is real crap.
