I work rotating 12 hours rotating shifts, I'm supposed to have some sleep before the first nigth of work. That's almost impossible, specially during summer days, so I go and the next day by 10 am turns 24 hours without sleep, as long as a have water and coffee and snacks I can make it trhough the nigth, try not too eat heavy meals,eat little by little when really hungry. The only problem I have is when I come back driving, I think there are times that I fall asleep while driving ,so I turn on the radio loud and open the windows to get some fresh air.

Jajaja funny how we never learn a lesson. I can’t function after the weekends, dead tired. Try coffee, chocolate, cranberry/orange juice. That what gets me going. I need sugar

Been there done that... on the good old days, on a few occassions, I have gone out partying for the night... go eat breakfast at about4-5 am, then go home, take a shower, and go to work... I would always make it cause I had my own policy that I would not miss work just cause I had too much fun the previous night... I payed the price, but never regreted doing it.
P.S.: where are you doing security at? maybe we can get someone to go pick up top-of-the-line techy gadgets while you sleep at work today... LMAO

Spend the morning with coffee. At lunchtime go to the nearest supermarket or Shoppers Drugmart and buy a case of "Wakeups" they are caffeine pills made especially for these ocations. Take one, and you'll be fine for 8 hrs. Make sure you plan your sleep after that though.
Thanx for the advice...but when u work SECURITY for a high tech place, you have to be alert and awake. But coffee is the way baby!!

well depends on what kinda work you do, if its office work like me i just sit in my cubical with my back to the door prop my head up with my hands and SLEEEP
