well i know exactly what you mean, i seeing it all, but its all possible, we had some serious promoters in the past, problem is the lack of support from the community, too much hating here, **** i think we must have at least 10,000 party latinos here in Toronto and surroundin areas, promoters should also think about doin promotions all around toronto, here in Hamilton, i never seein any promo for Don Omar or no other concert, u should also consider gettin bus trips from the diff cities to accomodate the extra 1000 potential customers that u can get ... and as far teh drinkin law, it dont matter, thats not an issue, otherwise u would never see a sold out show in toronto..

if you are really professional and know your moves and the way show biz works, you can get anyone to perfom for free just to get exposure and increase awareness about your music and increase popularity. Now i am not sayin Daddy is gonna come for free, hell no, it ain't gonna happen. But now that he has signed with Bad Boy, I believe there is a better chance of getting them to Canada, for 40G or less. Now if you go calling, of course tehy tell you 65,000G or up right off the bat, since they know he is the biggest reggaeton star, comercial wise. but they also know that he has bein in every latin country to date, except what Canada?! I mean, more than half of latinos in Canada don't know that he belongs to Bad Boy Latino, and who the owner of it. So now as an owner of a new enterprise and having all this money, i could easily accomodate anyone from bringing my talent to Canada, which they havent being to. if they charge 60,000 and up, it makes it impossible for anyone to even condider gettin them here, cause like it was said b4, you would need 1000 peeps and charge 60 a head just to even pay his azz, and not to consider the otehr 20,000 to make it happen.
Now this guys, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, you can see these guys performin in a nightclub in Manhattan on a ny given weeekend, and that is part of teh entrance fee, usually 10 or 20 dependin where. Now anyone gonna tell me that they are chargin $60,000 to go to A nightclub and perform? nah, its only him and the dj spinning, and thats what you get, this aint no full 20 piece band. Even Victor Manuelle and 20 piece bAND will not go for more that 40,000G or maybe 60,000 but thats a full band you talkin and salsa... Why not bring other better regaeton shows and have them let you choose a price. Shit, you can probably get Tego or Hector el Bambino for a lot more less than Daddy and give u a better show. Daddy right now is on top and yes they will ask for a lot, but u negotiate it down or no go, you move on, u tellthem u are gettin Tego or Hector, make them call u back once tehy realize everyone else is headin North except for Daddy. **** , bring an artist once a month, right now we have a reageton craze here and no acts cominh, nicky, was a start, too bad for the sound and the place, but u learn with mistakes. and u make it better, if the same guys that brought nicky throw another jam, i have full faith they will do a lot better since they know where they went wrong the first time, it was first big single show for any reggaeton promoter ever i believe. so mistakes will happen. Don Omar will be better since its Docks providin the sound and teh stagin, and probably security, si yeah you will have the best show YET. someone needs to throw a Fito Blanko reggaeton concert too, make it big since he is bein play in the radios and much music, u wil have better success with canadian crowd. throw him in togetehr with Tego adn u see what happens. Yankee is worth 54G's USD thats about 60G's CND unless you are charging $60 and 1000 people go you are still not gonna break even. Not to mention promotion packages, and other fees, the promoters are screwed.... better have some good coin if u wanna bring Yankee

Whyt would anyone need 20 airline tickets? and why would even anyone consider even paying for them? The fact is that you can get Daddy Yankee here with no show, just him and the Dj and completely cut the costs down by more than 60 percent... Daaddy Yankee and other Reggaeton artists should not insist on more money since tehy never being to Ontario or Canada and it would be a good move on their part to bring their acts to more countries so they can feel more international. They have all being to Latin America many times. And no, they do not charge 80,000 a piece to go perform. I went to see Nicky Jam in San Salvador and ticket was only $6, so the price was not too much to bring When Tego Calderon went, there was 10,000 people in attendance and it was free concert..the point being that these artists should be happy to bring their music to Canada, cause it seems here in Canada we are a little behind when it comes to music, and we put De menos a los artistas locales, they too deserve all respect as they bring you also original music.. So if you are into promoting, artists like Daddy or Hector or Tego should not set you back more than 20k per artist...period...

Woow...itz goin to be extremely hard for somebody to bring Daddy Yankee here to T.O. first of all it costa a fortune and secondly the promoters gotta really look into it and make this happen well organized... not another NICKY JAM..!
