Born and raised in Montreal, from Dominican and Salvadorian parents, the young Gilbert "G-Cap" Capellan has shown interest in music from a very early age. His uncle Augusto Capellan entertained his friends and family with the sound of his guitar. This caught Gilbert's attention and woke in him a passion for this instrument. Accompanied by his voice with R n' B flavour, it is clear that one can only expect great things from a growing talented artist with out limits. He kept practicing his passion in front of family members, classmates, teachers, wherever he had an opportunity to. I dont know if they 'borrowed' the concept, but yah it does have its similarities.. but regardless, its still a great video. I liked it.

Wasnt the concept of the video pretty much "borrowed" from that Sean Paul video? even right to where the little kid gets told and everything... other than that it was a cool vid, is it just me or does that one dude kinda look like Baby Bash?

Alexis Grullon a.k.a. "El Gordo" a.k.a. "2Saï" is a versatile rapper/producer capable of spitting in Spanish, English and French. Easily the craziest one of the group, his lyrics are unpredictable even though he always worries about bringing street reality to his texts. He is also one of the Montreal graffiti pioniers in the early 90s. "El Gordo" brings to the table a concrete example of what perseverance is after losing a leg in a horrific train accident while doing graffiti, thus showing the world and most importantly himself, that the only limit is the one we put ourselves to. He started rapping in Spanish with E-Rude and their group was called First Impact. In the mid 90s, after the separation of his group and the rehabilitation of his leg, he joined his cousin "Sol Valdez" to form the group "BlackSunz". They have shared stages with world-renowned artists such as Nelly (St-Lunatics), Nelly Furtado and Fonky Family (France). He also performed at "Les Francofolies" in front of 10 000 people. Today, after producing and supervising the most important Quebec rap artist's album (Sans Pression : Réplique aux Offusqués) with his beatmaking partner Cast forming "Saï & Cast" , he can be seen with Sans Pression on stage at all of his shows which makes of "El Gordo" one of the most recognizable figures in French Canadian rap. Now his objective is to extend his notoriety to the Spanish market and around the world.

I'm not sure who you heard it from since the Details have not yet been announced... but YES....both CRIOLLO and DJ I.O.P. will be in Toronto on Friday, JUNE 24th making an appearance during their Canadian Tour....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this show for all Latin Urban Music fans! You can watch their 3 music videos and listen to their songs on the site www.cricricriollo.com as well as on TH RADIO....These Dominicans have flow, are SUPER humble and they deserve credit for the promotion of "BAHIRE"(Bachata, HipHop,Reggaeton fusion).........with I O P in that show you just can't go wrong!

Definition of Criollo (Creole): That which is from a Hispanic-American country or relative to. (eg. Creole music, creole food…)

The group Criollo, all from Hispanic roots, mix their culture, experiences and beliefs to communicate messages of joy and pain to the world through their music of Spanish language. Comprised of four members, their truly original style shines creating a fusion between traditional Latin rhythm and actual Hip Hop, reggae and R&B grooves. These extremely talented artists have further perfected their craft in other areas of the game, such as producing/directing music videos, engineering their own songs in the studio, even musically and artistically directing albums for other artists.

The 4 members include:
