Oye, que beligerante que amaneciste. No, that's not what I'm saying. You don't do fact checking and ethics in a public forum. They, newspapers, tabloids, magazines, etc. have completely different formats and depending on management, they all have different standards when it comes to ethics. In a medium such as this one censoring doesn't always work. It's way too open and way too free.
I don't know what standards TH works under, but out of all the threads I have ever seen, they only took two down, and that's because they seemed to be in direct competition with their own website. Like I said before, Latin Urban may not even be competing, but the wording of the posting made it seem it was. Other threads have been taken down by request. I don't know how open they are to having something taken down if you ask them because I've never done so myself. As for the topics, you have your opinion, I have mine and other people have theirs. Some opinions may be insulting to you, your family, your country, your people, or might hit a personal, individual nerve. They might just be openly racist, discriminatory and insulting. But guess what? Some people actually think that way. Like I've said before, I'm just glad we have a place where we can read about what makes our community tick, but I realize that with it comes the other, the bad and the ugly. So I just read it and move on. At least we have the choice. And I'm done with this thread. It's giving me a headache.

As soon as I read that thread I knew it'd be taken down. The website that those guys were promoting looks like a carbon copy of Toronto Hispano, forum and all, so I can understand why TH wouldn't let them promote here. I'm surprised Urbanlatin or whatever their called had the audacity to post the thread in the first place.

I mean the entire thread is gone i remember when JM posted her pic and that thread it only got locked not deleted and this one got deleted whats going on??? Only certain ppl can promote there stuff on here i mean there were some serious enquiris on there and are they afraid this new website will take over??!?!??
