I'm there with my girls on the 4th. First time I heard about Boogie Nites Ent. I got the flyer as I was leaving momentos last week. My cousin and her friends are showing to.

A friend showed me a flyer for a place on St.Clair. ( club stir )

Who is Boogie Nites Ent? They have Diamante Sound Crew & Cana Dulce on Saturdays . . . starting June 4th?

Let me know know what kind of crowd Boogie Nites Ent. draws in . . .

I totally agree with you, Confe: LadyBug is one of the best promoters out there (where is she, anyway?) If it wasn't for her, a lot of us wouldn't know what's going on, and she DOES KNOW her stuff, she's 100% accurate and she gives you the info you need and more. Kudos to LadyBug and I hope she keeps doing the great job she's been doing so far.

so that would go for Charlie Moet, Dimple Ent, and also Infamous Ent ( but i guess since their branching off Third World i think they would just fall under thier Label / Logo) ...

so i hope this helps the poeple out a bit more on who the real promoters they are supporting...

Genie, i dont know u but i have to give u props. From the different postings i have found on this forum, (I'm new), i can see that u pretty much support all latin talent, dj's, promoters, etc. You are not a hater, u seem to know ur info and u give everyone a fair chance, but u also speak ur mind when u need to. Everyone should be more supportive and fair the way ur are. Just an opinion

There are plenty of promoters out there.. However, the ones I think have really fill up some rooms/clubs is Sabor Nuevo. They have brought a lot of artist and their events are always crowded. So far they are the ones who are doing more work.... This is my opinion only..

LMAO!! Thanks CHile we did answer in Eventos but hey your right so far SABOR NUEVO are one of the best Promoting companies out there! Heres the run down!

Latin4U - new company havent heard much from them

Latin American Stars - have brought big acts and have done a good job so far they hire street teams that hit it hard!

Third World Ent - when they did promote did not too much of a good job yeah they packed the club opening night and then aligned themselves with Starchyld and well the club shut its doors (However must understand CBC did have other projects and to them there music is more important so the blame cannot be placed on them soley)

Infomous Ent (part of Third World) has been doing a good job from what i hear the club in Miss does get a good crowd!

Y2J Ent - had the pleasure of working with twice but they do cater to a younger crowd!! they do there own promoting and DJING

Dimple ent - the first time they flopped! The second time so far i hear they have been doing a pretty decent job! havent been to the club yet and may make my way to chek it out some time.

Charlie Moet - he was doing good for a bit at Bamboo but his mouth got him in trouble and the cancellation of an event the day of the event also made a problem for him.

SABOR NUEVO ENT - so far all the clubs they have promoted the nights have lasted there one mistake was Palazzo that club is hard to fill but they managed to maintain it for a good while they hosted two concerts there and many hated on them yeah the sound ppl they contracted werent the best they over sold tickets causeing ppl to wait and miss the show! but i do believe they have learned and rectified these mistakes! Went to an event hosted this sunday it was packed and everyone seemed to be having fun! So by far they are the ones i would say are one of the best promoters here!

Celebrity Promotion - they did the fulanito concert which went good i do believe they had a good crowd and now there doing LA INDIA! so we will see how that goes!

Prezent Entertainment - I had the pleasure of working with and again did some events and did promote Latin Fever sundays and well always had a good crowd! Did Carlitos Cruz cd release party and again had a great turn out!

Okay so Latin Vibes has NEVER brought anyone else. The Prisioneros concert was amazing but I disagree on how it was promoted. Most people found out about the concert a week or two before the fact but from what I understand it was because Latin Vibes got confirmation very close to the date of the event....either way I don't think they are the best. Los Prisioneros was held at Koolhaus and I heard they had a great turn out. I did not get to go cause I had a previous engagement but I heard it was off the hook. As for Latin Vibes being promoters, I wouldn necessarily call them that. This is the only big band they have brought, so I dont think they're at the promoter status yet. Other people have brought artists maybe once or twice but that doesent make them promoters.

TALKING ABOUT PROMOTERS, I must say that I was invited to a new lounge that is located on COLLEGE AND GRACE. I was suprise to see the place is so fancy very "elite" upper class all the way. You don't get any of those little gangsters wannabees. Anyhow all you party freaks should check this out. They have Latin nights on Wednesday's and I'm telling you; this is going to be like Berlin used to be. I'm happy my friend took me here. Anyways, the place is called Beba Lounge and I Know all you ladies are going to like the MC he's from mexico and is really good looking. This place has FREE SALSA LESSONS AND FREE COMPLIMENTARY DRINK FOR EVERYONE THAT SHOWS UP. I'm going there tomorrow maybe I see some of you guys there.

and where was this concert for "Los Prisioneros" held at?, how many poeple was the capacity?, and how many ended up showing?

Para mi es "Latin Vibes" ya que nos presentaron a LOS PRISIONEROS en Toronto el ano pasado.

Creo que Latin Vibes no traen muchas bandas pero al menos lo poco que traer lo hacen bien, el concierto fue en un buen lugar y la seguridad fue excelente.

forget about the DJ's for a sec, becuase as u can see their not really bringing in the poeple as they say they useto....Now the real question is who are the best promoters for the Hispanic or Latin/Urban events? everyone must have a fav. cuz obousily the poeple are going out to support! so if u got a minute to spare please post up the best promoters of ur choice and why..!
