Take your Ecuadorian community and shove it up your ass. You are an idiot for trying to put people down with your personal stuff. How much did you get paid for this very low class no wonder they say Ecuadorians are a bunch of indians that still eat people.

To answer the question of whom Juan Miguel pissed off I guess he used to be a cop and arrested someone from Ecuador that was a friend of the Anonimo that is critizicing him. That is why all the hating. But all I can say is that in our beautiful country CANADA for someone to get arrested they have to commit a crime or else you can't be arrested. So I guess Juan was just doing his job and music has nothing to do with this.

I just wish these bashers stop crying so much they are starting to sound like a bunch of tree hug bitches. Have a joint and relax people. MARIHUANA IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL.

What I see up in here in down right sad. Once we get to a level where personal info and sh!t of that sort starts splatting on this foro, we gotta know that the lines been crossed. TH should step up and do something about it. There's too much "hate promotion" going on. Why can't we just smile upon artist's efforts to make it in such a dirty business (scroll up and see why) and support the struggles? Despite all of our flaws, the only thing it comes down to is the music. That's the topic we should be "chismeando" about. Support is important for ALL these artists because they end up being the ones representing and promoting our people and culture in this country. It's sad that with our community, the bashing is done by our own people. We have to smarten the FUCK up and realize that these dumb ass stereotypes that people have towards Latinos has gotta be crushed. Give people the chance to express their art no matter what kind of music it is. Our culture and successes are what should be promoted here and not personal beefs that people have with eachother. Think about it. Much more progression can be achieved with the unification of our community. Damn right I post it most of the time in this foro but I think many more people will be happy in the end. But even more important, others will stop looking down on us latinos like we some stale civilization. Express your opinions but please think of one word "respect".

ALL of our talent should be equally represented and promoted in here. BUT it's up to those artists to step up to the game and represent. TH has been helping all they could with the radio and promo spots. But it's up to the artists and/or their reps to show face to their people. So whether one artists is getting too much promotion in here, should reflect their determination. The ones that don't get promoted on here have gotta step up their game too.

Talent needs us and we need talent so that our culture is well represented musically.

I think confundida is very confundida, she says for her the definition of a local artist is someone that makes it big within his city. Didn't she say first that all the local artists are under promoted? so how could they make it big then.       Period!!!

I don't understand why you people even bother to answer to this bashers. Their pathetic existence is just proof of a lot of low self-steem. If they think that putting down our local artists they are actually discouraging them, I think the results are the opposite. So let them keep venting their hatred and negativity; I don't think that some of the artists even care about this morons. So to all our talent out there:

Don't give up !! We appreciate what you do.

I heard your song on TH Radio and I like it. I wonder if that anonimous guy knows anything about music. I don't know why he is so pissed at you dude. Well said. I love the passion for music here. I am from Gardenias (drummer) and beleive me, all the music I have heard on TH Radio is quality. Everyone is different as is their tastes in music. I personally am having a blast in this band with all the rythms and instruments I am being introduced to, both traditional and new. If your hear a band and like it, support it. If you hear a band and don't like it, listen again and you might be suprised. You must however, respect anyone that is willing to put themselves out there and show their hardwork and art.

Later,

Im sorry i disagree with your views simply because IN TORONTO OUR ARTISTS WOULD STARVE!! if they only depeneded on there music!

@the anony attacking Ojitos Lindos, fito Blanko and alex bello - sorry but you just sound like a hater that is doing nothing with your life and feels better by attacking ppl who are MAKING it somewere or trying to do what to them is there passion! Why so much hate?

All of our talents are very good that some push more then others yes that some expose themselves then others well what can we do. I was telling a friend of mine that when i was little I THOUGHT Toronto had a huge latin community full of supporters and that wow how nice it was to see them doing so many things but now i see that i was so wrong its just full of haters trying to bash eachother instead of making eachother stronger! Yes many of you have called me a hater which really doenst matter to me becasue many of the artist here i am friends with and know i do nothing more then support and show up to see them perform even if i know ALL THERE SONGS BY HEART i still go! POINT BEING THAT EVERYONE IS HATING ON THEM U KNOW WHAT FITO IS HUGE I MEAN HUGE IN MIAMI!! BUT HE STAYS TRUE AND HUMBLE TO THE TDOT! ALEX BELLO IS BEING HEARD EVERYWHERE DOMINICAN EUROPE BUT HE REMAINS IN TORONTO TO DO HIS THING BANDA BELLA SAME FINALLY DOING A TOUR IN THERE HOMETOWN WHICH I KNOW MEANS THE WORLD TO THEM!! CONGRATS TO ALL WHO ARE MAKING IT PLACES NO THANKS TO TORONTO!!

Hello everyone, all I have to say is that everyone is entitle to there opinion, I don’t expect everyone to like my music or my style, but to some of you: if you are expecting an artist to become know world wide over night trust me it wont happened, this is something that takes time dedication and hard work. Look at Banda Bella, we have been trying for 7 years and just this year things started going our way, we are not talking much about this but as of this moment we are the number one band on the radios in Santo Domingo and we will be on our first ever tour in the country from July 15th to the 29th,

As for my Bachata project there is so much happening with that at the time that I barely have time for anything else, with only one single in Canada I don’t know how but I have been approach by 3 major record labels and currently I am working on my first European tour Spain from august the 2nd to the 18th, some people are just so negative about what artist do and don’t do in this city that as artist we are learning to keep things to our self and have some of you guys find out what’s going on from other sources outside of the country.  For those that support what we do, Thank you once again thanks to you guys we have something to hold on as local artist after all como dice el Viejo y conocido refrán, “nadie es profeta en su propia tierra”, and we can see why.

Thank you.

Juan Miguel, I think this guy really hates you but any ways what can you do this is part of the bussines. I am also another artist from TH Radio, I just don't want to say my name cause I am afraid this same guy is gonna came to me like a mad dog barking and try to kill me with his long teeth. Anyways my name doesn't matter, all I wanted to say to you is that the first time I heard your song I thought you were really good, very professional, very competitive. It's not just me who thinks this way, some other friends that are in the music bussines think the same way about you.So keep up the good work my friend, don't let this haters stop your dreams.

Un amigo.

I think local talent gets bashed on more than anything in this foro. What promotion? Nobody is giving them promotion. That's why alot are quitting the scene and doing lousy jobs like the rest of us.

i listened to the fito blanko cd to see what all the hype was about

i noticed, when he raps / sings in spanish there's a bit of an english accent

is he doing this on purpose or does he just speak like that? i think the spanish accent needs a little work.

Proudly latin artists with something new to offer like Rosita Stone, Gardenias, Audio Ritual and Plan C, are not even taken into account because they dare to be different. Goes without saying that the least promoted artists are the ones that offer an alternative to the "chuku-chuku" musical styles that everibody listens to. "Por eso estamos como estamos""

Wow, you write so well, yet there's such bitterness in your tone. It's really good to see that you possess such class and "finesse", and that you want to impose your taste in music upon others. If you don't like the chuku chuku musical style, that's your prerogative, but don't come in here putting on airs just because you like music that "dares to be different." It only shows arrogance and you will not convince anyone that way. Enjoy the music you like and let others discover their own tastes in music on their own.

People listen to music because they like the sound, it makes them happy and it makes them want to dance. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you have a higher notion of what music is for you, then good for you. You've developed that notion on your own. Also, the music for the "ordinary crowds" is music that was alternative and different a few years ago, and it's the music that our culture has slowly begun to be recognized for. And it's not stuck, music keeps changing. That's the beauty of it. That these types of music are more popular, well, it only goes to show that it's good because more people like it. Maybe in a few years Rosita Stone will be the norm and not the exception. And I do like Rosita Stone and I DO LOOOOVE Plan C; it's just that, as anything new, it takes time for people to develop a taste for something experimental. But if they're good, their talent will shine through and in a few years they'll be what people will listen to (placebos for the masses... who knows). But in the meantime, let's enjoy good music just for the sake of enjoying it and stop bashing on those who make it.

FITO IS OVER RATED... SORRY MAN, BUT EVERYTIME IM ON THIS FORUMS, I SEE UR NAME PLASTERED EVERYWHERE....

BY PROMOTING FITO IS OK, BUT MAKING A HUNDRED THREADS ABOUT HIM AND HIS MUSIC IS ENOUGH ALREADY...   LETS TALK ABOUT ANOTHER ARTIST LIKE FLAKO TIME, LETS TALK ABOUT AUDIO RITUAL..... ITS TRUE ONE THING IS TO PROMOTE AND ANOTHER TO SUPPORT... I SUPPORT ALL LOCAL LATIN TALENT.. WHETHER ITS ROCK, SALSA REGGAETON OR BACHATA, WHATEVER THE MUSIC I SUPPORT IT BECAUSE AT LEAST THEY ARE DOING WHAT THEY LOVE... MUSIC...  I JUST DONT LIKE TO SEE HUNDRED THREADS ABOUT THE SAME PERSON.. THATS WHY THEY (THE ARTIST) HAVE A WEBSITE WITH A FAN FEEDBACK BOARD... MY 2 CENST.. DONT DROP THE CHANGE.....
