I agree DQ cake is one of the best!! But you gotta try the carrot cake at The Cake Boutique on Wilson & Wilson it's really GOOD ... Also the this fruit cake at Jane/Wilson I think it's called Philips Bakery or something don't remember but it's the plaza in front of St. Philps Neri church. Oh this cake is a MUST TRY it's sooooo YUMMY!!!!

Not sure where the BESTest cakes are, but there is this Italian place around Lansdowne/Glencarin area that they have a lot of good pastries (and food on the go - pastas, sandwiches, etc)... I can't recall the name, but they open late - 24 hrs? and even holidays!

What are the best cakes in the city? I used to travel across the G.T.A. to get cakes from a Chilean bakery on Dupont and Ossington... I can't remember the name, but the guy makes the best cakes in the city... Although now I go for the ones this nicaraguan lady makes in Scarborough... they're delicious. What kind of cakes do you guys like?
