Well all I can say is that life is easy for me & very comfortable so my ways of seeing life & expectations can be a lot diffrent then many here.


My parents take care of me (which they should & will untill I get married) & I've never been expected to learn or do any chores in my life, so I won't be doing any unless I have to, then I'll consider me learning.

I've seen, lived and experienced first hand boths parts - doing it all on my own at an early age and having maids look after me.  Rich folks do have "the life" and can have people take care of each individual need.  Even though I don't consider myself traditional nor up-to-day modern (just somewhere in between)... I think it would be a great skill to have for a woman (or man, for that matter) to be able to fend and take care of oneself - cooking, cleaning, ironing, the whole bit - Even if one is loaded with zillions of dollars, it's just good skills to have - one never knows how long that ca$h is going to last or what the future could bring.  (I.E.: A Princessa falling terribly in love with a Pauper who has "ni donde caerse muerto", or way to afford maids, cooks and cleaners)  


I like a saying that my dad used to tell me and it went something like this: "Mijo - para poder mandar y esperar que las cosas te hagan bien hechas, primero tienes TU que aprenderlas y hacerlas.  Solo asi sabras que es lo que tu puedes esperar de otra persona, en cuanto tiempo se puede hacer y cuanto te va a costar"

Im sorry but Princessa and Confu!!! you two are SPOILED BRATS and i have said to both ur faces!!


I can cook and i love to cook but i only like to cook big meals if its just for me forget it i will settle with a salad and tuna lmao!!


But i do cook and try new things recepits and all!! What i do need to learn is how to make those damn Pupusas!!! i swear its technique or something nunca me salen bien!!

Plus if you talk about cooking being cheaper...well think about buying the food, time preparing it & the hassle of the smell of foods.......FORGET it.....I minus well order in for the same amount of money & less work.

I know of many couples that the hubby cooks & I will maybe, only maybe learn if I feel like it once I'm married, but if I'm ever going to cook then my husband is cooking & that's a Must or don't expect any food or meals from me.


As to the maid.....hey why not it's possible, maybe expensive but my to-be-husband will know of that before we go any further. I know I can get it.


@ El Duro......I know it's very traditonal of women to cook but I have no intention of being a stay at home mom. Imagine a full time mom.....no. Now if I have enough money to stay home I would still hire a nanny to be around.
