Yeah just bought the cd myself today and I agree with u...Chris does have a great voice but so does Jonny Jon...see u guys on June 3rd front row and center...Llego tumbao!!!!!!!!

I'm not their mother nor father. I advise and lead by example, then everyone has a free will. I enjoy working music with my team and I don't think they are bad people, just young and immature at times. Heck I was there once too!, and I made my fair share of mistakes. You don't like them (us) or have a chip on your shoulder, then so be it. No love lost.
Stop comparing who's the best. It does not matter. I have respect for everyone that has passion for their music. There's something for everyone in this world and in Toronto.
If you like Tumbao Inc, then Thank you. You will not be disappointed, on the CD nor live!!!. If you don't like Tumbao Inc. That's OK... really. You won't hurt my feelings!!!
I like my album and I think we did a great job, and as an artist I'm confortable to state that.
For the record:
1. Tambora, Congas, Guira, Saxes and Trumpets were recorded in NJ with young cats like ourselves, non-famous but certainly dedicated musicians who aligned to my vision and were kind enough to convey it to our desire. (FYI: recording is a whole different discipline than playing live)
2. We wrote and arranged all our own tracks (Jonny Jon and I). No "big time" arranger nor composer hired.
3. I produced the entire album. No "big time" producer here either.
4. I sequenced, and programed and played all pianos, and synths in the album.
5. Jonny Jon and Chris did all the vocals and coros, with some additional help from other "local" musicians such as Vanessa Garcia, Michelle Melo, Christian Aviles and Melky Cabrera.
6. You think this band is going to suck live?... boy, you really don't know me...
Wait till you see what I got in store for you. We will pound the stage!!!!
So come see us live, all 14 of us!!!!... you'll see. (I love that challenge)

So far? they even haven't played live yet!! and anyways for your info!! the cd was recorded in new york and was recorded by professional musicians in new york.. the only thing that they have on their cd is thier voiceds and they had to be fixed up big time..that lead singer they have sucks... they are just tryin to sell the image! You will see for yourself... when they play live! just listen... good quality cd though... just dont think the band can life up too it! see you guys at the concert!

Do you mean the "least" popular? What does that have to do with anything? Tumbao has big momentum right now because 1) They're good 2)They're coming out with something new 3)Quality and it's great that they're local too, but there are other good artists as good as them and we should just be happy that there's the variety para todos los gustos...
