The owners don't want to sell them they want to keep them and it's mostly the husband that really really wants offsprings.

The Vet said that sometimes that happens.  The mom pup was having a hard time delivering and so she associates the pup to pain and rejects the newbie.  My dog was like that....she growled at the Vet after she got "fixed" or would get her needles...lol

I'm not sure though why the owner wants to try again after the Vet said that she can't have babies?  He is determined though and will try again cry

WTF is wrong with him?

take the dog away from him, poor little thing.....

I'm thinking of getting a dog an the Yorkie is at the top of my list..... just waiting for the right deal.

Sad news to report....the newbie died cry

After a Vet bill of $800 later, and not one single survivor out of the 3 newborns the owners want to try again next year.

I think the owners need to stop using their pets as breeding machines.  furious.gif

That's so nice of you X aww

What I found out is that they are keeping them apart for now.  The newbie is kept on the second floor of the house and the mom is kept downstairs.   They are bottle feeding the newbie as well.  The vet said that it's better to do this since the mom might kill her cry

I guess the question is when to introduce them to eachother?  I'm going to try and visit the pup this week.

Then this puppy is not meant to be. Sorry if you don't like the answer but Mother Nature is wise and the female will reject, up to kill her puppies for reasons that we don't know. Many times, rescued animals, from these stuations are weakers, or constantly hill etc... therefore, you can see the logic of why the mother was originally rejecting them. But sometimes, like for humans, some dogs don't have a motherly instinct but had no say in getting "pregnant".

My neighbour 's dog just delivered a new pup and it's a Yorkie .   Apparently the pup's mom doesn't want the newbie around cry and growls at it whenever in sight.  For those who have dogs how do u handle this?
