This is unbelievable. I'm glad they caught him. Regardless, if he is hispanic or not. Sexual predators come from all walks of life. This situation has been haunting me for two reasons. First, my boyfriend lives on fieldgate and bloor which is the main intersection that this man has been targeting. I've been so paranoid of walking around let alon using the elevator. I always had to have him with me. Second, of all my boyfriend is light hispanic looking just like this criminal. But, I'm glad they found him it makes it so much easier. It's just unfortunate for the victims.
In most cases - to make an arrest on such HORRENDOUS allegations, the police force have substancial evidence against the accused. Everyone is innocent till proven guilty; but chances are there is good evidence against this guy. Sad because there ARE stereotypes and some people are still not educated enough to know better than beleiving them.

Its sad to see that the hispanic community is being portrayed in a negative light within the media. It seems that negative is being magnified and all the positive contributors/events are being neglected or given very little media attention. The media loves to point fingers when it comes to 'minorities' (although we have a huge population here in Toronto) which unfortunatly, enforces negative sterotyping of the latino community.
I read this in the Sun yesterday and it's just unbelievable: this 20-year old Colombian kid has been charged with 31 counts of sexual related offences. He seems to be a good-looking kid, and yet, this is what they're alleging he did. It seems like us Latinos are more and more in the news, and not in a good way. What's going on??
