@ Princessa:  Si las eliminatorias fuesen de terminar HOY, SI Ecuador estubiese adentro, calificado para el mundial... PERO aun faltan 3 fechas = 3 partidos mas de eliminatorias por cada equipo.  So, anything can happen porque la tabla de posiciones esta muy apretada and anything can happen en las proximas 3 fechas... Despues de las proximas 3 fechas, los 4 primeros equipos califican automaticamente, while the 5th lugar team has to tener un game de "repechaje" con un partido de Oceania.  In other words, the 5th place team has a chance still - they just would have to beat un equipo de Oceania que estubiese en la misma situacion.

@ ElDuro - If they manage to TIE against Argentina and get a point, it would be a good accomplishment for Ecuador.  Argentina is not in first place in the South American qualifying by accident - it will be hard for los Ecuas to win.
