I think I tend to be a bit picky as to whom I give my spare change - I won't give to younger/healthier looking people who seem they can go out and work... I tend to give it to older/more desperate looking folks, you know, like the Shaky Lady!
last night I walked past a McD's where a man was hodling his cup asking for change - I gave him all the change I had - 'bout a dollar and change... This morning, I was short a quarter to buy tokens and had to break a $50 bill ... but as a result, I now have MORE change I can give away!
