@ 1800SLUT - If it ONLY was up to the parents to give consent for kids to have sex!  The world would be so much better!  (less unplanned pregnancies, STDs, no cheaters, etc, etc>) LMAO... and kids would be more into other things that are healthier for them

Confu you are right about one thing......you should not turn a blind eye and assume that your children are making the right choices.  Educate them on sex and YES at the age of 13 you should have already done that so that they understand the risks.  Show them a movie like "KIDS" and that will make them think twice.

Blame all of the above, and you may add: TV, magazines, meida in general... but the ultimate foundation starts at home.  As a parent one can't stop kids from doing things that they shouldn't be doing; but at least we can try and educate them and hope that they will listen.

THIRTEEN is definately too young to start having sex - never mind to be THAT experienced about sex.  I just think kids nowadays are too used to fulfilling ALL their desires - whether it's a desire to have something like an XBox or PS2 to the desire of going out late and even sleeping over at friends' houses.  In addition, most kids nowadays are not brought up properly - sex is just an act of fun and pleasure and they figure if they are fulfilling all their other desires, why not also fulfill their sexual urges. 


It all starts at home and, for the most part immigrants to Canada - including our latino parents - tend to raise us the old, traditional way where sex is a little bit more sacred.  But some of us don't listen or some of us just get influenced by the north american way of thinkin that sex is just sex - for fun and pleasure... not that it can't be for a responsible person - just not at 13!

 Way too young.  13 years old are still ignorant about so any things in life.  Sex is not a yoke, it's something really serious that should be practice with care and responsibility, sex is not kids play.  16?, may be 16 is ok among 16 years olds, since thay are a bit more mature and knowledgeable, I wish I had done it with my sweetheart, haha!, but I guess We were not ready and that's alrigth.

         I SAW THAT MOVIE THIRTEEN AND MADE MY COUSINS WATCH IT ITS UNBELIEVEABLE THAT STUFF I MEAN AT 13YRS OLD COMING FROM A SINGLE MOM I GREW UP FAST I HAD TO COME HOME AFTER SCHOOL DO SO MUCH CHORES AND STUFF AND TAKE CARE OF TWO YOUNGER BROTHERS SO I MEAN I HAD NO TIME TO GET MY SELF IN TO TROUBLE AND HONESTLY DID NOT WANT TO PUT MY MOM THROUGH THAT STUFF EITHER BUT HOLY AT 13 NOW A DAYS I SEE THE GIRLS AT ALL AGES AND STUFF AND ITS SO SAD TO SEE OUR FUTURE LOOKING ALL HOE LIKE AND GOING ON AS IF THERE MY AGE I MEAN **** I DONT WEAR HALF THE STUFF THEY DO AND CARRY ON LIKE THAT!! MAYBE LIKE U SAID BUFF WE ARE GOING IN A CYCLE BUT WITH SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE NOW WHY WOULD WE GO BACK IN TIME???

I do think that 13 is too young, but I really don't know what teenagers are like and think nowadays. Life is just so different from when I was 13, and I do know that we're living life at a faster pace in this day and age.


If you look at history, though, there are so many cycles in what 13-year-olds were expected to do... for instance, in the past, by 13 you sometimes were expected to be a mother by then, so maybe that's just life, going back in circles throughout history. WOW yo tambien soy de los q pienses q 13 es una edad muy inmadura para tener relasiones sexuales..........but now days all kids are doing different things are a younger age not even sex...lots of kids are starting to smoke not only cigarrets but dop at the age of 9 or 10....I aint that old but what is world coming to?

i've come here before to read some of the things that you guys and gals post thirteen is too young, definitely too young, in my opinion when they start this young the more the F*ck whatever tom dick or harry they forget the true intamacy that sex holds and devalue it to the point when its done for just doing rather than doing it for the please or the emotional satisfaction.
