BUFFY....I recommend SUR....I like Mana but it's small and not too much room to sit if you get into the chill and watch mood.....
It's really not that rocky I swear and they have lots of space to sit.....
OR go for a place that has a live band so you can watch and have some drinks...I think LULA has live music....
Let me know if you choose Sur....perhaps we can put some faces to the names....

anyway... reason why I'm checking out this thread... How about Saturday? What's good on a Saturday, not too cluby, not too rocky (I don't mind rock, but my partner in crime doesn't like it too much...) nice atmosphere, older crowd. What think you?

I have been going to Sur since it opened and I still go on Saturdays but I don't like Fridays..........It's a matter of taste.

Why would you say just forget Sur... I have been going there for the past 2 weeks and it has really picked up... The place is really classy and not run down like some of the other clubs I have seen... It is big the lights in the middle add an awesome affect its a gorgeous place..Mana is good too im not saying its not but I dont think he should forget sur... if the crowd is to young at mana for him then i think he should go to sur its an older crowd and the music is great its a variety.. A club is not the best place to take a date.......and Mana is Brazilian on Fridays with a younger crowd so the outfit is a bit too dressy......just my opinion....
If it was a different top it might work....the outfit is not really too clubby....not for the clubs you mentioned anway....
