As soon as I heard this, I figured it had to be something along those lines. I guess once you're in American Idol, you're pretty constrained, in terms of a career in music and making your own choices, so it might've been wise he did it now. The guy has a lot of talent, and he could definitely make it big in the music biz. Hopefully it'll work out for him. On a related note, I heard that Clay Aiken is trying to distance himself from the Idol franchise, but I think it's too late: he has Idol written all over him now.

Yea, its really too bad, he was definelty my favourite to win. I wanted it to be between him and Mikalah. Man..........well, you know, he will go places. Hope hes ok though. Said he had personal issues.......
