I have a GPS but havent bothered to install it in my car yet.  Can anyone give me a quicker route to get to Eglinton/Dufferin by 6:15ish?  I want to avoid driving down DUfferin cause around that time it's usually packed cause of rush hour, and yesterday there was a huge accident and i didnt get to my destination on time.

Like any back streets along Eglinton, Caledonia?

Please and thank you.

Take the 29 bus down to Caledonia.

De nada.

The Dufferin bus runs parallel to Caledonia  blankstare.gif

Oh, she meant THAT Caledonia... She should've been a little more specific... sheesh! Sorry, Colo, I can't help you with that one. I only know the route to the OTHER Caledonia! shrug.gif

Usually I just drive along Falstaff to Culford and drive south on Culford to Gulliver.  Once I get to Keele and Gulliver, I'm just a couple of blocks North of Eglinton.

Have you heard of mapquest or google?

biggrin

Yes I have, however, those sites do not show any shortcuts or backstreets.  They just show the most obvious routes.  Thanks for your assitance

Keele/Wilson to Dufferin and Eglinton is not far at all, but of course after work rush hour on a Friday may not be too fun... Not sure how traffic is in those areas; but I'd probably just take Keele straight down to Eglinton, then to Dufferin.  hmm

Thanks Tipsblankstare.

(Kidding). I know it's not far, but like i said, at that time it's very packed because it's only two lanes, and if an accident happens (like yesterday) it takes forever to get to my destination.  Does anyone know any shortcuts through Caledonia?  I think i tried the Eglinton/Keele route once and it wasnt much differnt.  How about from Rogers?  Anyone, please

I'd strongly advice against taking the Rogers route!!!
a) It's a one lane street now - has been for a few months (not sure if you know).
b) You'll be going further south than you need to go, just to comeback north to Eglinton again.
