When I was little I used to DREAM that I was a gringa. Too many tv shows made it look so good. Until I came here and started watching the news.
Other than where I'm from in Latin America, I would like to be from Colombia: LOVE the accent, and they seem to be fun-loving, happy people, and humble too. Colombians have never disappointed me.
I'd love to be from Greece or somewhere in Europe where they have lots of history and are proud to be who they are.
But I'm really proud to be where I'm from... I just wish I could travel back in time and meet some heroic Cacique and see the people and the history, 'cause we really have no legacy, except for what the Spanish allowed us to have... everytime I remember that they burned our past, it just breaks my heart. All we have left is El Popol Vuh.
