I think it's a harsh thing to do, i would feel a bit embarassed, but if that's my last, final best solution...then maybe then I'll think it as an option.

I know someone that claimed it and his record follows him.  I don't think it's true that after 7 years it clears on your record.

Do you know anyone that has claimed bankruptcy?  Would you?  What would be an alternate solution?
