@ Chuck    True it's about PR but remember that Oprah I think help out Obama a lot by introducing him and sponsoring him.   Was the 20/20 with Katie because yes I did see it.  Palin was awful!  They said they are going to steer her away from interviews.  I would luv to see Palin vs Biden debate.  He would screw her up so bad.

McCain is losing votes right now and doesn't seem as credible and worse Palin (running REP for VP).  She doesn't know what the heck she is talking about and no Zero international experience.    I just don't get it why would McCain pick her when they are more qualified people out there?

McCain to show up for debate after all

McCain said earlier this week he would not attend the debate if an agreement had not been reached on a $700 billion bailout plan for Wall Street.

The outcome was up in the air Friday as lawmakers scrambled to agree on a plan.

But by midday, McCain's campaign said the Republican presidential nominee believed enough progress had been made for him to travel to Mississippi to participate in the debate, set for 9 p.m. ET at the University of Mississippi campus.

"He is optimistic that there has been significant progress toward a bipartisan agreement now that there is a framework for all parties to be represented in negotiations, including Rep. [Roy] Blunt as a designated negotiator for House Republicans," the campaign said in a statement.

"The McCain campaign is resuming all activities and the senator will travel to the debate this afternoon."

Both presidential candidates -- McCain and Obama -- returned to Washington Thursday to participate in talks over the bailout package.

The bail out is going to cost the rep a lot off vote to the rep the dem must pounce on this

I am not going to give my very clever answer to solve all the problems of the US economy for free. I am waiting for the gringos to approach me with a VERY LARGE $$$ settlement so I can provide them with THE solution to all their troubles.

On a side note, I feel sorry for some of the people affected by this whole mess but I can't help to think that these are the same peopel who elected a monkey as a president TWICE!
