If there's ONE REASON why I really hope BARACK OBAMA wins the presidential election, it's because it would drive all the racists completely crazy. Here's what I'm talking about . .

On September 26th, a seventh-grade teacher from Marianna, Florida (--in the panhandle, near the Alabama border), named Greg Howard asked his students if they knew what "change" stood for in Obama's slogan, "Change you can believe in."

So what did he say it stood for?

My opinion hasn't changed much of Palin.

She was scripted and tried to clean up her image due to the last couple of weeks. She didn't really answer alot of the questions, couldn't defend McCain's positon and I found her a bit ghetto in some of the language she used in her desperate attempt to try and reach out.

Joe Biden is the only winner!

Last night Sarah Palisn was very good, she followed consistently her strategy; the entire debate she kept deflecting questions in order to find her way onto the script with which she'd been programmed......

oh and by the way she says ""nuke-u-lar"

She was very uncomfortable, at times fully reading her script, althought she talked very similar like ross perot...very foxy and charming trying to show herself as example of the American dream.

At the end she put her entire family in the stage and she held a down kid not sure if it's her...her hubby was kinda lost at some point she pushed him away...

Look this very interesting....

I think what really bugs me about this whole Palin thing is how incompetent she comes across and how many other Palins there are out there making the big bucks.

the fact of the matter is, the canadian economy is so heavily dependent on the US economy that the downturn in the US is going to affect canada significantly. canadian exports are over a third of canadian GDP and exports to the US account for 85% of that I think. so basically, the next two years (at least) will not be pretty for north america, including Canada, or significant parts of the world for that matter (the US is such a heavy consumer of foreign products)

the bailout is necessary but 700 billion is just the tip of the iceberg. hopefully buying out those mortgage backed securities will create some short term liquidity in the market and get the banks lending again (without lending our economy will not function). but, what people have not been talking about much yet is all the financial instruments that were built on top of other stuff, like car loans, or corporate debt. who knows how that will play out in the next year or year and a half. some people are saying that there are still more than a trillian dollars of these more exotic securities that could potentially be written down.

i pray that it doesn't get that bad, but there's a good chance that it'll be 700 billion now and more later.
