This only affected the green line right? I got home ok.
Nope, yellow. University line. Guess you got lucky. You do leave early too.
Why have you not responded to my funny e-mail???
Ok, you didn't find it funny.

are we on the same page here? as far as i know the whole young line was affected all the way to lawrence st...so whoever needed to go further beyond that point was f**ed in the a$$ .....cause mannn was it ever rammmed on yonge station....then i just decided to goto pape and take the bus to fairview ...a bit long but it was the only way left.....it was even more packed when i got there so i decided to talk to some asian lady pretending i knew her to bud in line first
Funny. My GF does the public commuting thing and she took the usual time (there and back)... and didn't hear her complain.. and NOBODY has a worse commute than her. NOBODY!. She couldn't possibly work any more downtown. From Woodbridge she takes the York region transit (not the viva line) BUS to the Go station, then the TRAIN to union. Then the friggin BOAT/FERRY to Toronto Island. Dunno how she does it. I would've killed my self the second day
shesh! your gf needs to move closer or get another job. Commuting is such a waste of valuable fun time. So much more you can do with your time than being stuck in public transportation..
Kudos to her for being such a good sport about it though...

Yes, the VIVA strike had a lot too do with the situation yesterday with public transit. I just take the bus home. There was defently more people than usual.
I DID notice the ride on the subway, northbound to Downsview quite fuller than usual... I thought it had to do with me leaving a little after 5:00 pm, as opposed to leaving a few minutes before 5. I went home, went out to Downsview, and the buses were taking FOREVER to come - there were tons of ppl waiting for different buses... Many buses had been diverted to help trasnsport passengers on the affected subway area that had a power outtage... Overall, it only delayed me, I would say, about 10-15 minutes, so I won't complain too much.
