I am the same way,.... and i do go to stores because of the people , I have two convinience stores close to my house, but i go to the one a bit further because of la chinita,., she is soo nice, el otro convinience store has a indiana que no dice ni gracias. I think if you have/work in any business where you have contact with people on daily basis , you MUST have good customer services. At the gym I am going , the girls or guys who are at the front desk would never say HI or BYE,. the first week I enrolled I complaint with the manager,. now they do.

Same here. RIGHT next to the Coffee Time, there's this convenience store, that I occasionally bought cigarettes from, con una pareja de Indianos (not sure why it's relevant, but whatever) that is SUCH s friggin drag to go in there! They're not rude or anything, (although they barely say hello, thank you or you're welcome) but just so friggin dry and monotone... you feel like killing yourself, just from the vibe in that place. I refuse to buy there, and drive to another place on my way to work

I go to this Coffee Time almost every morning. It's not exactly my favorite coffee (although it's not horrible) but esta pareja de Chinitos are soooooo incredibly nice and soooooo appreciative of my business.
I don't even have to ask for my coffee. As soon as I park, she's already making it! and they say "thank you" like a million times! Super nice.
Do you go -or NOT go-to any stores just because of the way they treat you?

or maybe she is hitting on you.

I hope not. A bit too old for me, y 'ta media feita hmm. But she nice (a la George Lopez)biggrin

I always appreciate good service and am more likely to return; but yeah, like most - even if the products they sell are great, if the service sucks, I'll go elsewhere.

A couple of places I go - I often get free coffee/food/ and even drinks from the owner and sometimes from other regulars (sort of friends, but not very close friends). There's been even times I'd go help myself to some food - order a drink, and I'd get charged only for the drink. Works for me! and the waitress gets a bigger tip too... Owner is happy I go back regularly and give my business... Everyone is happy! w00t.gif

If I like the people AND whatever they sell is not great but is still ok, I would still give them my business. There is this tiny organic food store where I buy yummy somosas all teh time, the owner si so nice and I go so often that he often gives me free treats :D

On the other hand there is this restaurant by my place were the food is amazing but they have really b**chy staff, I never go there because how you are treated is part of the experience and I am not going to pay to be treated like crap.

I'm with her.... I'm the same way.

Yes I do.  Sometimes I'll go to Timothys by my place and man is so nice that he'll even ask me what I've been up to and how am I.    I'll always buy at specifically at his place.
