You guys have to remember that is not just the USA that benefits from wars but also other countries that help the USA. In my oppinion, I don't think Bush will do anything about it at the moment because he has to fish what he started, plus it would be stupid of him to have spend soooooooooooo much money on a war that he wasn't able to finish. He already has the people of the USA divided with this war if he decides to change now it he would just have more people againts him, also the countries that are helping him. It's all a matter of time, like Phantasma said war is a business, the USA needs to have one to stabiles its economy.

2.- I disagree with you in the point that he is finishing his dad's the Job. George H.W. Bush led the United States in a war against Iraq (The Gulf War) because it had invaded its neighboring country, Kuwait, in a move that threatened the oil supply. And the Actual "war" was based in allegation that Saddam Husse had WMD....couple weeks ago they announced there is not WMD in Iraq.
Dont forget also that for the United States war is big bussines. Millions of dollars are spent every year in defence contracts and if there is no war those people will not be happy. Not to mention the oil interests. I dont think is a fluke that all the countries Bush has invaded (or is planning to invade) are crude producing nations.
Another thing is that Historically, the United States has always hyped up foreign threats in order to mantain the populace at ease with regards to Local matters, is a well known deception tactic of theirs. They make everyone focus on one thing and then they dont pay attention to whats going on in their own country.

Koreans are not starving. Don't get me wrong Kim is not my all time favorite socialist leader but just as in ANY country that tries to have a socailist goverment......THE UNITED STATES is there to make sure that there are things they do not have access to through BLOCKADES.

Lets look the Big Picture...Bush is not going to like this. His orders are to invade Iran and his excuse is because they MIGHT someday have nuclear weapons (the same lame excuse he used to invade Iraq). With North Korea openly declaring they have nuclear weapons, the case to invade Iran next crumbles, and with North Korea actually HAVING nuclear weapons, the US is not likely to invade. As Iraq proved, the US only invades nations that don't really have weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, Bush's only possible path to war in Iran is another staged terror event.
This is all a strategic game.....I think Kim's playing his cards. Get nukes, stop US aggression and use the south for economic development and stability ala china style to maintain his position of power.

Bush is INSANE and we all know that. Who is the United States to say what country should disarm? The united States has CRAZY weapons of mass destruction so when are they giong to disarm? North Korea announced for the first time that it has nuclear arms and rejected moves to restart disarmament talks anytime soon, saying it needs the weapons as protection against an increasingly hostile United States.
