lol true but the authentic food....is yummy! They make the food to bland.
What I meant was I liked the beaches and environment better. The people are so nice too.

Anyways, CanCun is so american is not even funny and not a place to relax thats for sure, i was there about 4 years ago with friends and we had a good time, its all about the party can't really say much about the beach because most of the time i was sleeping during the day, Cancun is all about the night life.

I'm sure there are nicer beaches itslef, but I LOVE the fact that the ruins are right there. It makes for an incredible view. As a package... I've never been to a nicer/more 'alive' place. Even the vibe there is weird (in a good way)

Cancun is not bad IF you like the 'city' feel, but the beaches RIGHT in Cancun are not great. I spent a day there and could barely get in the water... FULL of friggin rocks.
Even if you drive 15 mins south the beaches are much better. Ni hablar de Tulum! What a gorgeous place!!

Depite I was born in the Ocean lived by the ocean I was in cancun 15 yrs ago and I used to Love it...I was there last week and I was surprised ..NO BEACHES..where they've gone ????

The water colors are amazing but NO beaches....lots of bishes ..

Plus it very very americanized....me no liked it...I stay only one night in Cancun I drove 2 hrs south of cancun....those are beaches...! empty, no people, gotgesos beaches and better colors than cancun.
