These world cup qualifiers keep getting more out of line by the second  Just ridiculous. What upsets me more is that no matter how crappy the good teams play, they are still guaranteed a seat for SA 2010. Chile well deserved, you should be in second place.

Ecuador the light keeps getting dark for us. I am now hoping we come 5th and play trinidad , honduras is playing well beating mexico 3-1.

Anyone looking at the european qualifiers? Portugal is on the verge of not making it.

masterpiero, the chances of colombia making it to 2010 is the equivelant to greece pulling of another euro 2004 championship.... it aint happening again

Ecuador as a team plays better, has better players , and plays for a win, unlike colombia who just seems to barely try and playing with a magcial 12th player called "luck"

if you seen the brazil ecuador match , the score should have been 3-1 at least , julio cesar was playing for the whole brazilian team most of the time...

The WCQ are  getting better and better, I agree with Dunga when he said that the Qualifyers are tougher than the World Cup itself. Did you guys watch the games? I watched most of the games.  I thought the Argentina game was AMAZING!!!!  I mean there is no reason on this earth that they should have lost against Venezuela anyway but they played well.  Messi was great!!!  Just a pleasure to watch!!!!

Chile...well I thought they played great as well!!  It had been 25 yrs since we beat Peru in a WCQ match in Peru so it was a great win.  We need the points. I liked how Sanchez played and I think the team is pretty strong right now.  If we beat Uruguay it will take all my worries away.  I have confidence that Chile will pull off a win!!!  Hopefully Uruguay will keep their dirty kicks to a minimum

 

@Mastro....what in the world makes you think Brazil will beat Peru by that much?

Chile has definitely the best momentum right now (A. Sanchez is playing really good) ,  and most likely the will win, but I just hope for a tie so none of them take significant distance, and that Paraguay finish Ecuador so we don't have to look what's behind.

Is going to be interesting to see  how Argentina reacts to La Paz, it will be difficult for them to replicate last game (Bolivians are known for putting hellium on the balls to make them faster and lighter and  therefore wear down the rivals, so I don't think Messi or TEvez will shine tonight), I hope  Maradona give a chance  to  Ezequiel Lavezzi,  he has great skills and is fun to watch(like Messi+Tevez in one).

En mi opinion Chile perdio por confiado, Bielsa admitio su culpa, nos paso lo mismo contra Paraguay, Brasil solo espero a Chile y contragolpeo, pudo haber hecho muchos mas goles, el ekipo Chileno es muy joven para jugar de igual a igual con los mejores del mundo, aun les falta mucha experiencia, eso kedo demostrado.

bolanios and urrutia will be back by than but to tell u the truth I don't really like bolanios playing for the national team, he is a gr8 player when he is with liga but in the national team he plays like ****

About the other games i was also very  surpriced but thats what is making this qualifying games so gr8 and by the way Arg vs Peru was 1-1.

I don't know what happen to Colombia but they had a really bad game and Chile took advantage of it.

Ecuador vs Uruguay

Both teams played hard and i thought they where even over all, i wish Ecua would have won the game but a tie is better than a loss when they play in Uruguay.

Anyways, we are so f@cked for the game vs Chile we have lost most of our players do to injuries and yellow cards can't really say how we are going to do against them.
