yup I hear you about the shakes and stuff like that...but I'm always curious and it's good to ask.

I am kinda tempted thought to buy this drink or powder not sure how it comes - to clean out my system.  I have to look into it though.

hey I'm going to do the same (cleam my system) but after i come back from ecuador, i been think about it for along time and i have a few friends that have done.... so like i said I will be doing it when i get back.

That takes some SERIOUS discipline!  I tried it for 3 days and just couldn't keep up.  The drink is gross and you have to take laxatives to "clean" out your system.

No thanks!!!!

i know it takes serious discipline, reason i been waiting for the right time, for me i have to get mentally ready that's y i like to get all my info months before so i know for sure what I'm getting into...... at this point I'm ready to do it but I'll wait till i get back.

I'll make a thread with updates when i start.

Huh?
Every 3 days,  non stop for a week? confuse.gif
So you really just go swiming for two days? confused.gif

well para los que empiezan a nadar, swim 2x a week 24 lenghts non-stop, or else you'd kill yourself! Yo nado  5 veces a la semana por 1 hora I do over 24 lengths.

Do you have a workout routine? I haven't bought anything in ages and wondering what you guys think of fitnessdepot.ca?

y do u need to buy a machine, are u looking to get big or something?

if u r just looking to keep in shap all u need is to get creative and use things around ur house and the main thing is to eat right....... I been doing this for a month now and i can already see the diff, I've also just started to go to the gym only because i want to get some muscle.

I know a guy that lost over 50 lbs just by eating right and doing a home work out without any machines.

~X

lol no i'm not trying to get big or gain muscle mass.  I was thinking more like a rowing machine or maybe a bike for cardio?

Perhaps buy a flexa ball and I already have elastic bands for resistance.
I eat pretty healthy so i'm ok there.  I'm finding the gym a bit boring so I want to change this around a bit but I'll join again.

like i said u don't need to buy a machine, actually the other day i went to the gym and the weight room was closed for renovations, so i decided to go to one of the strengthening classes they had... man that workout was crazy, I'm still feeling it and we didn't use a machine just small weights.

u just need to find urself a routine with exercises that u can do at home without a machine.

~X

Yeah I know strengthening classes i've done, they are great.  I've also thought about what you're saying.  What gym do u go to?  Adrenaline on Dufferin?

no, we have a gym at work and i go at lunch time, but i used to go to the YMCA on college and dovercourt but that was a long time ago.

I just started going last week but before that i was doing a small workout at home, just pushups, situps, and other stuff just to get my muscles ready for when i started to go to the gym but i could already see the diff just by doing that at home.

~X

Lucky you!  I wish I had one at work.  So why did you join the gym then?
What do u think of protein shakes, power drinks or stuff from the health store?

i didn't join the gym, i just started to go to the one at work..... the YMCA was a long time ago, i wasn't working then.

I hate protein shakes and all that stuff.... ur body becomes dependent of them and it should only be taken by people that are training with a lot of weight...... i say stay away from them and just make sure u have a well balance died.
