How is that a racist?? If I find a certain physical feature unnatractive, I'm a "-cist" of some sort?? I'm not GENERALLY attracted to black girls, hence the comment So if I were to prefer brunettes over blondes, or thick over skinny does that make me a "hair-cist" or a "weight-cist"?

No, you can not refer to any other people by colors white, black, brown , yellow. This happened at my uncles's work, and I have heard that some other workplaces are doing the same.
Kinda came up in a conversation.... If I said: "She's very pretty...... for a black girl" Would that make racist? and why?
Yes, it sounds racist, but it is very common to hear that when the girl you are refferring has delicate physical features. I beleive it comes because of the fact that most african-american have very "bold" physical features like thick lips etc. In some workplaces , you can not use the word black when referring to an african-american.
WOW - that's tough cookies... too strict! Does that mean that in those same places you can't call white people white?
