i disagree with you on your last part ...my folks never even talked to me about sex ....i learned as i was growing up but i was never that careless to do something wrong.....we were raised well id say and thats were our good judgments came from

i dont plan on having kids anytime soon so i aint even worried !!

Ugh I would be sooooooooooo dissapointed in Chile Jr if she did that! Dissapointed is not even the word!!! evileye I think more than sex education (although that is super important) I think it's so important to teach girls that boys are NOT the end all be all in this life. Teaching them how important it is to educate themselves so they can grow up to be completely independant is key.

Sounds like you were raised and taught that having girls is a bad thing! hmm

I would like to think that most parents love their kids equally regardless of whether you have been blessed with sons or daughters.

On the topic of sex education - I guess one CAN learn sex from books, friends, school mates, TV, etc... but what kids hear learn outside the home is not always accurate. I didn't get the birds and the bees talk either - but back when I was a kid, not so many kids were having sex at very young ages, and maybe STDs were not so widespread as they are today.

If you are a parent, nowadays you MUST educate yourself and educate your kids about responsible sex, consequences, pregnancy, STDs, etc.

WIth all the sexual education out there, sometimes I believe that teenagers get pregnant on purpose because of the "experience" or they think they are "in love". What they are lacking of is guidance, they need to know the consequences and how hard it is to raise a child.

....and yes i know it feels better without one but regardless how much of a dummy can u be to not go to the local drug-store and take a morning after pill at least......and lets not say that highschools here dont give proper sex education ....because thats not the case theres soo many resources here to educate yourself about safe sex.....

i wont say im perfect ..but i at least AT LEAST always had the responsibility to take proper precautions...

anyhow who feels sorry for these people? me personally i do and dont.. what i do feel sorry is for the baby who will most likely end up growing up without a father figuer in life....and to an extent for the mom and dad cause everything piles up on them in life and only a few can make it out at the end
