El rapero Nicky Jam está que bota chispas, pues aparentemente su colega y ex amigo Daddy Yankee ha provocado la cancelación, varias de sus presentaciones por no querer compartir tarima con él.
Según indicó una fuente a PRIMERA HORA, la gente de Pina Records "viene absorbiendo la presión de Yankee y ellos no se han querido meter con él..."
"Si Yankee está en una presentación, Nicky no puede estar un mes antes, ni el mismo día, ni después", se reveló a este diario.
Un ejemplo de esa situación que se viene cuajando hace varios meses es que el martes pasado Daddy Yankee, –que ha vendido 400 mil copias de su disco "Barrio fino"– no permitió la actuación de Nicky Jam en las fiestas patronales de Mayagüez, coordinadas por Julio César Sanabria.
Como el intérprete de "Gasolina" condicionó su actuación al enterarse de la presencia de su colega, diciendo que "si no lo cancelan, no voy", Nicky Jam fue sustituido por el dúo Lito & Polaco, que pertenece a su mismo sello discográfico, Pina Records.
Por lo que Nicky Jam, que hace tres años rompió sus lazos profesionales y de amistad con Daddy Yankee, terminó cantando ayer, jueves, en las tradicionales fiestas.
Otro incidente parecido se suscitó con el festival De La Vega, en República Dominicana, que sería del 20 al 27 de febrero y cuya imagen principal era Daddy Yankee.
Presuntamente, Yankee canceló su participación al saber que Nicky Jam figuraba entre los artistas invitados.
Esto provocó que los productores estuvieran en un corre y corre que los forzó a mover la fecha del evento para el 27 de este mes.

For your info: Daddy Yanks is 35K+(US). Also, it's unfortunate that DJ Kassanova was cancelled due to it being an all-ages event. What do you think people will expect for Nicky Jam? I understand it's an all-ages event as well - same location. Hmmmmm?

People been asking for a reggaeton concert in Toronto for a minute now, 25 dollars is fair, as far as i can remember most Latin concerts are around that price anyways ,Reggaeton is whats hot Nicky Jam is Banging right now if you know anything about Reggaeton so stop hatin and if it doesnt fit your budget dont come. DJ KASSANOVA this friday dont forget.

In case the show sucks, I mean REALLY SUCKS, the last thing u want ppl to to have on they're minds is your name. Let's talk numbers, Guvernment Capacity compared to Bamboo Cabana's Capacity.
Basic math! Plus it's an all ages event, so what does that leave Cabana's ($) with. There's some internal expesses (security, staff etc...).
