We all have weaknesses and strengths no matter who we are. Sometimes the weaknesses seem to outweigh the strengths and sometimes its the other way around. Some Gucci Hobos,Gucci Totes,silver tiffany bracelets people get sick easily. Some struggle to manage their finances properly. Some people are hopeless communicators and struggle with relationships.

Another reason Why I don't like tp hang out in Latin places....after I working in few clubs/bars (latino and no latinos) I realized the Latino culture has anger issues.....

Man Faces Long List Of Charges Including Attempted Murder After Cop Shot At

A 21-year-old man faces a long list of charges including attempted murder after a Toronto police officer found himself dodging bullets.

The frightening altercation happened at about 2:30am Monday in the Weston Rd. and Highway 401 area as members of the Gun and Gang Task Force were conducting an investigation. It's unclear exactly what unfolded, but it's alleged the accused brandished a gun at one point and fired it at a police officer before fleeing.

Though the officer wasn't struck, a bullet lodged in the side of his cruiser. An extensive search for suspects ensued involving dozens of officers and the canine unit.

Nearly 24 hours later, police arrested Jaime Eduardo Merchan and recovered a firearm.

Merchan was charged with nine offences including attempted murder, discharging a firearm endangering life, using a firearm to commit an indictable offence, and careless use of a firearm.

He was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday. Initially there were reports police were looking for up to six suspects but it's unclear if that's still the case. The gunfire was apparently preceded by an incident at a nearby nightclub.

Since the officer didn't return fire, the Ontario Special Investigations Unit wasn't called in.

A man has been arrested after shots were fired at an undercover police officer early yesterday.

The plainclothes officer, a member of the guns and gangs task force officer, was fired upon after following a group of men from a nightclub on Beverly Hills Dr. to the parking lot of a shopping centre on Weston Rd., just south of Hwy. 401, at around 2:30 a.m.

When they reached the parking lot, police say the men got out of the car and one fired three or four shots.

The police officer was not injured, but the attack left one bullet lodged in his unmarked car.

Using search warrants, police arrested a suspect around 10:30 p.m. last night.

Jaime Eduardo Merchan, 21, of Toronto, faces numerous charges, including attempted murder and using a firearm to commit an indictable offence.

He was scheduled to appear in court this morning.

What a difference a day makes.

Just hours after narrowly avoiding gunfire, a Toronto cop was yesterday enjoying the public holiday at his cottage.

But that's the life of a front-line police officer.

Police say the officer was in an unmarked car when he followed a vehicle from a nightclub at 31 Beverly Hills Dr. about 2:50 a.m. yesterday.

The vehicle stopped in the parking lot of an apartment block at 2460 Weston Rd., south of the 401.

The officer, who had parked on the other side of Weston Rd. near Oak St., started to drive away when he saw six people get out of the vehicle.

"They looked right at him and then went to approach him," Sgt. Steve Craddock said.

"The officer thought, 'this doesn't look good, so I'll just drive a little ways out of here because I don't really need to be here'," Craddock said.

The officer was soon ducking for cover as at least one of the occupants opened fire, hitting the unmarked vehicle in the trunk.

A number of search warrants have been issued in relation to the shooting.

One officer at the scene told the Sun few people in the surrounding apartment blocks said they heard the shots.

It's too early to tell what effect the incident will have on the officer, Craddock said.

"The adrenaline is still pumping through him so you don't know and you won't know that for two or three days or maybe even weeks."

Michelle Watson, who has lived with her family at 2460 Weston Rd. for nine years, said anyone who shoots at a cop should be behind bars.

Watson did not hear the shots and first became aware of the incident when she saw police swarming the area.

"I don't know what's wrong with people who do this sort of thing -- it's just crazy," she said.
