OMGoodness, anytime i talk to any girl, be it in person or over the phone, yes even ordering food, my wifey thinks im flirting :(
The other day we were at yorkdale buyin gift certificates, and the csr was bein overly friendly, and i was just bein me, and again, she thought i was flirting even though wifey was rigth beside me...then when i get nervous i tend to smile, and that smile is what gets me in trouble all the time damn innocent smile lol
Ever had a situation where no matter how innocent it was, there was no way you could get away without looking guilty??
I had one a couple of weeeknds ago (and that reminded me of a couple more that I had) I have this client... an older woman (late 60s) she is super nice, but annoying as hell. I made the mistake of giving her my cell #. She regularly calls me out of bussiness hours (sat, sun, etc) which is ok... I guess. BUT she recently went to Greece, and there is what? about 8 hrs diff or so?.. So anyway... I was hanging out at home with my GF on a Fri night, and she calls from Greece.... @ 1:00 in the friggin morning!!! First I thought is was my parents.. then saw her number and didn't answer and was already thinking (and panicking)... "How in hell is she going to believe THIS story??? She (my GF) is going to kick my ass!!!" So I told my GF the truth, and she said: "ah, ok" I was sure I was going to get the whole treatment. So it worked, but.... phew!

LMFAO. It always seems to happen with phones as well. So que cara puso when you told her you have a 60 year old viejita calling you at all hours. LOL.

Another time, my ex (we were together at the time) calls me, at work, out of the blue, saying "are you cheating on me?!?!?" totally caught me off guard. Me: "errrrr.. no!". So she said: "I just found an interac receipt from Howard Johnson in your jacket (a jacket I used all the time) for $80 (or so. about a cheap room rate) how did it get there??" I knew I had never even been to the HJ or ANY HJ, for that matter, but with that in my pocket how could I come up with an excuse?!! I kept saying "I swear I don' know how it got there!!" She hung up furious. I kept picking my brain trying to figure it out... I call her back asking what was the date on the receipt, which kinda made matters worse, 'cause when she checked she said "OMG the time on the recept is 2:00AM!!!!" Ugh!! so I hung up picking my brain some more. So eventually I figured it out... It turns out her sister had flown in from California a few days prior. The flight had come in at around 1am. They where hungry so we all went to the Perkins on Dixon road near the airport, adjacent to a Holiday Inn. That friggin particular Holiday Inn had BEEN a Howard Johnson!!. The Perkins I guess was owned by the hotel and had all their cash registers still reading "Howard Johnson" And that was the date and time on the receipt. Motherfu*ckers
