is the same reason i went with creative u can put any file u want drag and drop from any computer any videos and most formats play on it unlike with the ipod where u it has to be a certain format in order to be able to play it.

i've never tried to go the other way around but this app only works with the ipod shuffle but like i said there is probably and app for the rest of the ipods and yes the program i use is free.

This might be a stupid question, but....:
Is there a way of extracting/uploading files from an iPod onto a diff "library"/computer than the one you originally downloaded the files from??
I've been trying to get the music from an ipod (shuffle... if it makes a difference) that has been ussed on another computer, to MY computer/'library' and won't allow me, unless I delete the whole thing and start over!! WTF??
