Wow! I'm surprised that these people in the foro voted 52.percent for plaza and nothing for the D.J.s at Rancho,Fever,Babalus etc..When in my opinion I find that the rest are just as good or better. It's hard to beleive ...I mean what's the hype about the D.J. at plaza? Isn't the vote about the D.J.s and not the club? That's just my opinion.

2 years ago....i ask dj gamboa 2 play reggaeton and he said he just plays salsa merengue and bachata..that reggaeton sux.....and he play "la Bomba" from azul azul.......
Then a year ago those y2j start doin reggaeton partys 4 kids and 6 months later the start playin reggaeton in the clubs.....and now dj gamboa plays regaeton.....i remember u said...it sux...well...thast funny

well Gamboa might not be the best DJ to your opinion, but He IS ONE OF the best ones in TO. no doubt of it! Another Dj that sure knows what to play is Dj Caña Dulce...the rest of them.... i swear ...i had never heard nuthing about them till now...

He is good, but when it comes to reggaeton he needs improvement!! always has since he started playing it at plaza. Gamboa some advice for you, from a regualar at plaza. Sit down one day infront of your computer, and go on a couple of reggaeton sites. Then look for the newest tracks, unrealeses, and newest cd's out. If you are going to play the usuall 8 reggaeton songs(not enough in my opnion) on a saturday night, play some up to date tracks at least.

Oh and by the way I have enough to back up this comment. This comment is coming from a 100percent reggaeton fan, thats all i listen to pretty much. Trust me everyone there are many many more hot reggaeton tracks then just the same ones he plays always . If you are up to date in salsa merengue bachata cumbia etc.. Be up to date in reggaeton too

I voted for DJ Gamboa the dance floor is always packed even on Fridays when its not as busy as Saturdays. i use to go Fridays just to dance cuzz theres room, and no one who knows how he plays would say these rude comments about him i never even heard of y2j isnt that a wrestler?

I know plaza is about variety thats all good, but not when the variety consists of the same songs over and over. Update your reggaeton man. There are "millions" of good songs you can download off the net or purchase.

If anything, let the boys from Y2j manage the 30 minute reggaeton session you play please.

Gamboa is a top notch dj...dont hate! i'd like to see what you could do. HOw do you know anyways just how much Plaza pays their djs? have you ever played there??? if so i wonder why the owner didnt keep you? listen plaza is pretty much always a guarenteed place for a good time. the djs are there to play music...YOU are the one who has to make the best of the night...its pretty sad that you only count on the dj to make your night. anyways dont hate on Gamboa cause as you can tell by just how many people attend Plaza on a weekly basis he is a respceted figure in the djing world here in the T.O. try to make the best of your time when you go out and dont hate on people just cause they are having fun and are entertaining you at the same time!!! oh and im sure Gamboas family arent the ones who are voting...get real!!!

Same mixes with that stupid looping and sample every weekend...Hey don't you think it's time to download a new one??? You assume WAY TO MUCH...Listen I have been on this scene for a long time. I was in this scene when Sabor Latino was hot when Rumba night was around, whan La classique was around and I have been to EVERY latin club in this City! My taste in music and MEN has changed! I don't enjoy a lot of the clubs that are going on right now when it comes to music. ONCE AGAIN THIS IS MY OPINION. I like Sur/Cervejaria/Mana and that's it right now. I was done with Flamingo/Latin Fever and many others a while ago. I am into different stuff now and YES the way a crowd looks has a lot to do with WHERE I do and I DON'T ONLY GO TO LATIN CLUBS!

I have been there and done it and this is what and who I like now........ok.

Genie...I WAS talking about music! I was saying (above) that Carlitos is going to D.J at Sur....he is a BABALU guy from what I understand. I just find it hard to beleive that people think LATIN FEVER has plays the best music but as you said this IS my opinon and I am saying I don't like Latin Fever.

You are also right about the fact that I think Sur is better because I do. I go to Sur and I don't snort anything. Many of my friends to go sur and they DON'T snort anything. I think that is a rather SILLY point all together because you will have your druggies no matter where you go. What is true is that they play a lot of Latin Rock and Cumbia and the crowd is what I consider a good crowd. You may have certain taste in men and so do I and what I see at SUR I like.

It's a matter of opinion and this is mine....NOTHING personal.

I've been living here for about 4 years,moved here from Montreal. I was told to go to Babalus and went a few times, always had a bad time the music is boring D.J. plays the same stuff all the time and the crowd is all wannabe's mostly all wannabe latino players that are mostly broke...So tried something else and started to go to Plaza Flamingo the D.J. is alright,I find he needs to update his music though... But most of the times I go with my girlfriends to Latin fever friday's & saturday nights the D.J. is amazing it's just more exciting place to be at ....more energy and stuff !!! And for the rest of the new D.J's & Club's they never last...

I've heard most of the D.J.'s in T.O. latin clubs and I must say I like the D.J. from Latin Fever, He play's all the new stuff he's music selection is awesome keeps the crowd moving,excellent mixer and programmer and what amaze me is he's not even latino! My number one choice would be him.
